the pelicans is a horrid name but I think the design team could make the bird look pretty badass.

Wow hahahahahaha........ ok name for a football or hockey team, but just doesn't suit for basketball IMO. Now if the Bobcats change to the Hornets again things are really going to start getting confusing.....

Charlotte Hornets
Moved to New Orleans & became the New Orleans Hornets
Charlotte Bobcats came along and took the Charlotte city name

Now if MJ goes ahead and changes their name back to the hornets we'll then have..

The Charlotte Hornets (who aren't the original franchise)
The New Orleans Pelicans (who are the original hornets)
