Excluding TP's how many Warriors sig cards can you think of?? There is a reason for that.
A set with Broncos, Bulldogs, Souths, St George, Manly, Parra signatures will sell better than a set with Warriors, Raiders, Newcastle, Titans and Cowboys. Its just the way it is.
SS9 (Bulldogs) Michael Ennis , SS10 ( Canberra ) Josh Dugan , SS11 ( Sharks ) Paul Gallen , SS12 ( Titans ) Scott Prince, SS13 ( Melbourne ) Billy Slater, SS14 ( Newcastle ) Kurt Gidley,
SS15 (Cowboys) Johnathan Thurston , SS16 (Warriors ) Manu Vatuvei
I know what you are saying Owen but the above list of players signatures would sell boxes. Just a little effort required on Select's behalf. A little narrow minded of select to think it is still just the Sydney Rugby League and not a national competition.
Maybe I have guessed right and the above will be the actual list....

Look for these names in the hobby release later in the year. There is no way that these names will make it into the Champions release - you only have to look at the "big names" in last years star sigs.
I agree Owen they will save these name type players for the more expensive series 2 release. What a pitty though. There are collectors at the bottom end of the market and also new collector's that need to be attracted to the Hobby.

Select are all about "collectors at the bottom end of the market and also new collector's"
They need to concentrate more on rewarding the loyalty of the long term collectors that have put up with their junk for years
I agree and this reward should be delivered via a high quality top end series 2 at the right price or even a special release with historical card inclusions. I think the series one release should be for the bottom end of town with some gems ( pardon the pun ) of high quality included for the dedicated collector to chase.

No doubt that is what Select thinks. I reckon it was a disgrace there was never a sig of Stacey Jones in his prime - I think any collector would have treasured that. And there's numerous players in their side now who would get plenty of interest for a series one sig - Shaun Johnson, Feleti Mateo, Manu Vatuvei ...
personally i dont think we will see anything different in the first series same old concept, designs and favourtisim shown by select if there is the 8 sig cards again you pretty much know what teams they will be from
star sig daniel mortimer that will do me
i will be more looking forward to the second series if there is one

Once you've won a couple you really know what you are missing out on ...
Ok, that was a low blow haha.
