Thanks for the heads up Al.
had one of these b4 too they say that they detected a virus on your computer and to turn it on i guess to get you to download their virus software, They probably scam a few retarded housewives etc
there are a lot of computer illiterate people out there that can't be classed as retarded, it's OK for the younger generation to be Tech savvy but what about us older people who have done all the hard work so the next generation has it 'soooo' easy!.
The best one I have got them with so far is that I tell them my number is on the do not call register and if they were so kind to give me their company details I will have no hesitation in reporting them to the government where the maximum fine is $250,000.
After I put my number on that register its been pretty much bliss. :v:
I'd love to get them on the phone just to have fun with them and play along.

whats the link to that register?
What some of them are also doing is getting you to give them access to your PC whilst only charging you $9.99 to fix the problem. Sounds cheap doesn't it?
They get your personal details, CC details and you get a headache.
I have had about 10 of these calls recently and I either string them along or simply tell them i dont own a computer.

After that they dont care what my computer is sending.
Cheers
