Remaining 2013 ESP Elite Parallel Case cards to be destroyed shortly!

The destroyed cards are:
Gallen numbers 45, 46, 47, 48, 49 & 50.
Smith numbers 45, 46, 47 & 48.

I will have them with me at upcoming shows at Mornington, Geelong, Penrith & Parramatta for all to see!
There are now only 44 Gallens and 46 Smiths in existence in the secondary market.
Great for all those who purchased one! Another great ESP initiative.

Are the remaining burgess parallels being destroyed?

So, have I missed something. Can someone please explain to me why the remaining numbers were destroyed and who was entitled to the ones that weren't destroyed? Seems to me that us poor buggers who actually collect cards for the fun of it miss out all the time and dealers are racking in the dollars cause they get everything before we do!

these cards were released at show in penrith for collectors to buy which i think was in july? after that collectors had till the day of the grand final (i think) to purchase these cards through jajas collectables after that, the remaining stock was destroyed and Jaja put photos up for proof

Thanks for that. Explains why I never saw them in Brisbane. Seems a little unfair that they were released at only the Penrith Show and that Jajas Collectibles got stock, and the rest of us missed out. Why didn't Esp just randomly put them in cases and give those collectors that actually spend money to buy a case a chance. Still don't get why they had to destroy the remaining cards that weren't sold. Why not auction them off and give the money to a charity.

I hardly think you missed out...
They were available for sale at Jajas' for some time!!

Just don't understand why the Penrith show and jaja's are so special to have been the only places that these parallel cards could be purchased if in fact that was the case. I don't really care, because I would have never brought one at the price they were going for in the first place and I don't collect case cards, but if they were randomly inserted in cases, then I would have been more inclinned to buy a case.

A couple of things here:

1) they were a parallel of the case cards to be sold exclusively at the Penrith show to try and get more people (collectors) to the show. Just like other people who do show cards to provide an incentive for people to come.

2) Rif has a lot to do with ESP so they made the cards and he was responsible for selling them.

3) I really don't understand why it bothers you so much when you don't collect these types of cards and wouldn't have bought one anyway?

4) I don't think they should have been destroyed especially when what they were serially numbered to 50.

They would have eventually sold.

I think they destroyed them as a point of how much they care..

If you don't buy them, and but them now... They won't be here, Simple!!

Thanks for clearing that up. I'm just saying, wouldn't it have been more of an advantage if people may have been able to have plucked them from a case rather than just purchasing them outright!

I'm glad they're taking this stance, People seem to be under the impression that because it doesn't sell out that it is somewhat devalued.
They hold off waiting for the price to come down...

Collectors will soon realise that if you want it, You best get it while you can... It won't wait for you whilst you make your mind up.

as you said, us poor buggers can't afford it.
So how are are you going to buy a case.
I suggest you pay more attention to the site and participate in whats going on.
We have all had a chance to buy items.
Pay attention in school, get a job, work your arse off, then you can afford to pay for cards.

tina, Its not about having a go at anybody, as I have said we all get chances to buy items, some cards are too expensive, as an individual you have to work out for yourself if you can afford what your eyes see.
I have seen cards that I want as well but I have not got a vault to walk in and get what ever I want either.
But what I buy, I have worked my arse off for, for many years have gone by that I have wanted things.
So at the end of the day, make your own decisions what you want and put your money where your mouth is.
