Regal Trading Cards Signing Information

You obviously have no idea what you are talking about... If I buy the Mona Lisa, that doesn't give me the right to photo copy it and sell a million of them....

Hey Robbie I hate to be a stickler for detail but actually if you did buy the Mona Lisa you could copy it and sell a million of them if you like, In fact if you invited me over for coffee and I took a photo of your Mona Lisa I could also then copy it and sell a million of them as well.

Why? Well there is no copyright on the Mona Lisa for several reasons, copyright wasn't invented when Da Vinci was alive so does not apply and secondly copyright only exists for the artists life + 70 years.

The intent in your post was correct but the example cited is not.

Guys, there will absolutely be extra cards made up and signed. Just like Select and footycards.com releases, there will be player edition cards, promos and whatever else you want to call them. They just won't be numbered. To check, search for player edition on ebay.

I have to say this first design of regal cards was fantastic! Not a backyard job.
Personally, this kind of release is not my cup of tea.

You knew what I mean....

Yep, simply put buying an original doesn't give you the copyrights, these rights always sit with the "artist" unless specifically sold with the item.

Nothing on Ebay I can find.

I ordered 1 of each as the pairs were gone. Ended up with 2 x No.18. The notable difference is that Langlands has signed his full name on mine Graeme Langlands instead of G. Langlands.
Will try and get photo up later.

What's the quality of the cards like?

Cheers
Matt

the apcs cards look like they've been done at play group with a few kids and crayons.
I went to the Beetson Raudonikis release a couple of years ago with the express intention of buying all the cards on offer. One look at the Beetson sketch jumbo card convinced me otherwise. Honestly, you would not have picked Artie in a police lineup even if he was the only one present!!!
