Regal Trading Cards Signing Information

Errr, on sale from where?
http://www.asccmag.com/price-guide/

ASCCMag says: "1. Excluding the number 1 card, card numbers will be strictly sent in the order that payments are received"

I can see potential problems here. I have cards 11 for Sattler & Langlands. I may end up with card 3 for the combined. Naturally I would like to have card 11. How does everyone here feel about swapping amongst ourselves to get the number we want? Could it be possible to request a number?

Info-
We are very excited to announce that Regal Trading Cards "Greats of the Game" double signature will go on sale tonight night at 7.30pm (NSW time) via the Australian Sports Card Collector website.

This amazing card containing two of the games greatest and is limited to only 15 cards!

These cards will retail for $419 + postage. The number 1 card will be sold in a separate listing on the site for $599 + postage.

Please note the following sales terms:

1. Excluding the number 1 card, card numbers will be strictly sent in the order that payments are received.

2. Payment is via Paypal only. Orders will not complete in our system unless payment is made at that time. If you make an order and not pay the order will not exist in our system.

3. One card per person / household / paypal address. Our system will restrict you to only to buy one card per order in any case but please do not attempt to put in multiple orders. They will be cancelled and refunded at our convenience.

4. Card will be sent on OneTouch's securely and safely. Signature will be required on delivery.

5. This card is licenced by the depicted player and their management. This card has not been authorised, endorsed or approved by any licensing body.

I must say I'm not a fan of them selling the #1 at a higher price, especially as they state: "Regal Trading Cards for the collector" to me it makes a mockery of that mantra because it is obviously "for the money".

Personally with such a limited release I think they should wait until it sells out or say wait 1 week and then random.org it live, so "The collector" has a chance of scoring a number 1.

Cheers
Ross

Strange that the announcement of the 15 dual signature cards came after each lot of 25 single signature cards sold out...
I found it a little more that there was a different seller. I wonder if Regal are not playing favorites and sharing their product with different sellers

I read this thread and can see both sides of the coin.
Why don't we give Regal some idea's on how best to allocate the No 1 card. An idea the majority of us can agree on (because where not all going to agree on the chosen item).

What we should remember is its better to have 2 card companies verse 1.

I agree. To give everybody a fair go at it. Not just the guy with the fasted computer or computer skills that go with it. You have to think the older guys with no computer skills are the collectors with the money. Now before any body says. "Quote, That will be right the person with the deepest pockets will always buy the no.1 and they should be shared around Unquote" Just remember the dearest card helps sets the value of that card in general. The no.1 should be twice the amount of the other numbers if not more. Collect any collectable item in the world and the number 1 of its kind is always the sort after and is the most desirable one to collect.
