Maybe time for another bump, have noticed a lot of "new" members simply putting up a thread saying they have cards for sale but no list, pictures or description of what they have.
Seriously is it really that hard to at LEAST put a desription of what you have up?????
even though i was a newbie i thought it was common sense to list what i have and what a want for it. with pics..
if only everyone was as good as me.
P.s. still all for sale. haaa.
i was guilty of the "scans only no price threads" way back in january 2013 when i joined! ( some of these posts are probs about me) but that was mainly due to me not being able to work out how to price each pic because i was trying to sell a huge amount of cards. I agree prices are a better way of letting people know what you want and from now on ill list a price and only try and sell a few cards at a time.
Also being so new to the hobby at the time i did have no idea what my cards were worth!
I think im getting the hang of it now and am still enjoying this site.

Just to add to the convo. What I really hate on BO is quite often if you put a price on a card, and if certain people deem it to be too high they will make comments in the thread saying so and sometimes it can get quite personal (as does most things over there lol). At least here we have rules around this, that protect the seller from 'slander'.
Making an offer is a way to try and get to dollar for the card, hoping someone doesn't realise they can get it cheaper and hoping someone will make a stupid offer on it. Not sure how many people here would actually do that. Everyone knows what is the lowest they would take for their card, so why not put a price on it with some room for negotiation to cut out a lot of time wasting.
Having a PC should be mandatory, you need to see what condition a card is in prior to purchasing it. Would you buy something off Ebay without seeing a pic first? Anyone that stupid?
