One thing is a certainty for me. It will be the greatest game of football I will ever experience. Confirmation came through the other day that I will have the honour of leading the NSW State of Origin team onto Suncorp Stadium as their team mascot, the cockroach.

At an NRL level, its a real privilege to take the team onto the field but this is something I never dreamt I would ever get to do and 1000's have wished they could do. Less than 24 hours to go. I am so pumped.

ARL marketing person: "Hey King there's still some seats we cant sell, can you use your profile to ramp up the redneck hate fever, perhaps write a column about NSW and Gal in particular still disrespecting us that should get us over the line"
