one thing these halves do bring is a great kicking game

if its equal with 2 mins to go give it to hodkinson he knows how to kick them field goals better than any muppet in the comp

I'm still backing NSW even following their torrid leadup. Are the odds against them, yep. Injuries a problem, yep. Inexperienced halves, yep. But so what. Stranger things have happened, especially in origin and I'm certainly not convinced that this a bad team. I'm not willing to write them off, not until the series is done and dusted. If your a blues fan already taking to despair then perhaps you should hand in your supporters card for giving up before the games even begun. NEW SOUTH WALES!

One thing is a certainty for me. It will be the greatest game of football I will ever experience. Confirmation came through the other day that I will have the honour of leading the NSW State of Origin team onto Suncorp Stadium as their team mascot, the cockroach.

At an NRL level, its a real privilege to take the team onto the field but this is something I never dreamt I would ever get to do and 1000's have wished they could do. Less than 24 hours to go. I am so pumped.
