I've been reading a bit about it in the papers and watching the news, about the supposed "armed robbery" by OJ and some "accomplices" who supposedly robbed a couple of memmorabilia dealers of some OJ stuff. But then I read that OJ is saying the stuff was stolen from him in the FIRST place! So if some guy breaks into my house and steals a watch, jacket, pair of jeans, sunnies, etc; then I see him down the road wearing these articles, I can't roll him and take my stuff BACK??? What the hell is that??? It's MY stuff that HE stole, is it even POSSIBLE to steal your own stuff??? I mean, I know people say: just call the cops and wait for them to arrive and arrest the robbers." But what are you gonna do, ask them to sit down and not move while the cops arrive? Hell, for all you know, the cops have probably stopped off for doughnuts, or are pulled over arresting a "dangerous" jay-walker! Cops don't want OJ "holding up" the robbers? Do their damn job in the first place and get the robbers before he has to hear about them at a memmorabilia convention!
Yeah, yo are correct that I'm just assuming he's telling the truth, I can admit that. But when the "memmorabilia" recovered included his wedding videos, it didn't seem like something he'd hock in the first place. Well, I know I wouldn't hock my wedding video, or a photo of me with the former FBI director. I'm assuming most people, including OJ, would be the same, that's why I found his story a bit more believable...
American murderer? I could've sworn he was aquitted a number of times... And I think that's also why this is creating so much interest: people are still dirty on him because they BELIEVE (rightly or wrongly, could be either), that he got away with something else years ago which they wanted to stick...
Hearing the same story here in Toronto, they played a recording (from a hotel?) that was what I think I heard, but I didn't take much notice as I was doing other things at the time. Seems he had a gun himself also, he wouldn't let anyone leave the premises etc. Speaks armed robbery to me, but I don't know the wole story yet. I heard this morning he will be released on bail.
OJ has been released on $125,000 bail. He had several charges read against him, including, first degree kidnapping and armed robbery. Conditions of bail included no contact with the alleged victoms and he had to give up his passport.
