Official Real/Fake card Thread!

However, fleer bankrupsy cards have no GU or patches inserted into them. So even if it is a legit Fleer Bankrupsy back up card, the patch inserted is a fake/addition.

Remember when those cards showed up on ebay without the Fabrics? Just a blank area for it and sellers are trying to push them as rare? ;)

I think we saw a similar situation not long ago, there was athread about the sprewell version of the card, where a member had the logoman stamped 1/1 in their pc, and a unstamped version was listed on ebay.

I've bought from the seller before, no issues, I think he/she may not know that the card isn't legit. They had a lot of webbers listed, guessing they must've bought a collection and broke it down for sale.

Those type of cards are the reason they have us always questioning the legitamacy of fleer patches.

Well I think the idea of faking patches really came to life since the fleer bankrupsy sale. The main reason we question them is because of fleer, but fleer isn't the only ones we question :)

I think that's more to do with the market being flooded with them, and most can't be sold for a $1, and the way autos have been inserted into boxes, they're headed down the same path.

gee i hope so...ive mentioned before i havent really wanted to chase legacy collection so this will be my 2nd...i've never heard of this seller but playmakerbfl has a heap of fleer stuff

i think all those reasons are correct....they need to reduce the amount on the market and switch em up with other stuff....game used net....shoes are a must i think...they came with holographix but wouldnt it be sweet to see some of Melo's Jumpman....or Tmacs logo or a bit of the swoosh of a kobe shoe....and the need to date them as to when they were used....
