Official 2013-14 Playoffs Thread - SPOILERS!

@MettaWorldPeace: Finals prediction
@dallasmavs vs @BrooklynNets
Yeah but he's an idiot...so...

Brooklyn however....

I think they have what it takes to beat any team in the playoffs...

I'd love to see upsets all round...Brooklyn Vs Miami in round 2 is going to be epic...

Brooklyn Vs Blazers in the Finals...I Could live with that too...But that's probably never going to happen...

Wow what a day.

Spurs are hanging in there.

Indy, incredible. I knew it would be a tough series but Atlanta look good for the win now. Amazing. I think people forget Atl sat in 3rd most of year until some serious injuries, they just play tough and have a couple of guys really stepping up. Mike Scott can play great D and knock down shots.

Tomorrow will be another doozy.

Chi vs Was: I think the Bulls are done. The young legs and speed of the Wiz are just too much. Wiz to win

OKC vs Mem: This will be a classic. I hope Mem can do it but I think KD and WB are due to play well, this looks like the game. OKC to win.

LAC vs GS: We'll get to find out what the Clips are really made of. I think they're still the better team and should have incredible crowd support, it is America after all. Clips to win.

I'm having the issues with the Apple TV, I normally watch the games on the TV, I don't have as many freezers on the computer, but I do get them...

The Internet connection where I live is the worst, it drops out all the time...

I just figured there might be a way to reconnect to where ever I was up to during these drop outs without having to scan through it all again!

Mean while I have had 3 drop outs watching the Spurs game!

If it keeps up I'm flying to the U.S and watching them live....(I wish)
I was watching Hibbert's stats today and kept getting a dropout.... i think? :)

**spoiler alert**

This will happen in clippers / warriors game, apparently

Uh oh...Butler just made a 4 point play in the fourth quarter. The Thunder are 0-2 when making 4 point plays in the playoffs this season :p Can they make it 0-3?

The Thunder shot selection a bit questionable over these games, often times jacking up threes when they only need a two. Credit the Memphis defense but this series would not even be close if KD or Russ were actually making a handful of their open shots.

Is it just me that feels OKC would be a much better team by moving Westbrick to SG and finding a competent pass first PG to get the ball in the right hands?

Westy and Durant seem to have trouble finding the right option in crucial parts of the game. Sure they can get hot and win games on pure talent 9 out of 10 times but i feel they need a calm head just to make the right choice especially in the Playoffs.

For me Durant is the man! Westbrook needs the ball to much and 9 times out of 10 when westbrook takes more shots than Durant they lose.I agree that they need a pass first type of PG and free Westbrook and Durant up more. Someone like a Kendall Marshall would be a good fit or even an ageing Nash. But man is the west a tough gig. Miami are so lucky they r in the east.

Westbrook is a double edged sword, obviously, he made the steal and score to send this game to overtime and he made the big 4 point play and grabbed some crucial offensive boards in their previous games. I don't think you can pin it all on him, it's their offensive sets that are a problem. I've said before that the Thunder rely way too much on isolation plays, give it to Durant and get out of the way and their offense becomes stagnant as a result. When he's scoring 35 a clip and shooting 50%, not so much a problem...when he's shooting 30%, it's a big deal. When Westbrook is also shooting 30%, and the two of them make up the bulk of the shot attempts, then it's an even bigger deal.

Memphis have really stiffled KD with ball denial firstly, then double teaming quickly and running different guys at him. I can't believe how ineffective he has been in practically the whole series, when you think about how efficient he was during the regular season, there would be no way he would go a stretch of 4-5 games shooting under 50 percent. This isn't a shooting slump, it's the Grizz defense that is wreaking havoc.

I think Reggie has proved he can start.

Marshall and Nash, pffft, no way, sorry bud, I just don't see it.

They do need to ditch at least one of either perk or thabo.

You can't have two x one dimensional players in your starting 5.

Ha ha, Adam sorry man, that's not true at all.

Okc Mem comes to mind. Pistons/Lakers

You mean Memphis who won today off the back of some sweet long range 3s from Mike Miller??
Find me a defender that can stop someone like Dirk from scoring then I will concede! :P
