Westbrook is a double edged sword, obviously, he made the steal and score to send this game to overtime and he made the big 4 point play and grabbed some crucial offensive boards in their previous games. I don't think you can pin it all on him, it's their offensive sets that are a problem. I've said before that the Thunder rely way too much on isolation plays, give it to Durant and get out of the way and their offense becomes stagnant as a result. When he's scoring 35 a clip and shooting 50%, not so much a problem...when he's shooting 30%, it's a big deal. When Westbrook is also shooting 30%, and the two of them make up the bulk of the shot attempts, then it's an even bigger deal.
Memphis have really stiffled KD with ball denial firstly, then double teaming quickly and running different guys at him. I can't believe how ineffective he has been in practically the whole series, when you think about how efficient he was during the regular season, there would be no way he would go a stretch of 4-5 games shooting under 50 percent. This isn't a shooting slump, it's the Grizz defense that is wreaking havoc.
