Just had a look at the standings, man the East is weak this year!!

As of now Wizards #3 seed, Boston #4 seed, heck even the Bobcats who have been horrible, are in the playoff picture as the #8 seed!?!?!
Also didnt expect to see the Blazers atop the West this year, they didnt even make the playoffs last year with virtually the same roster?!

Anthony Bennett averaged 16.1 points and 8.1 rebounds a game despite only averaging 27.1 minutes for UNLV. He shot 53.3% from the field overall and 37.5% from 3-point range. He was extremely efficient in college, averaging a PER of 28.3.

Halfway through the season, Bennett was plagued with a shoulder injury. His minutes were cut to allow him to rest and he even did not start a few games. After making it to the NCAA tournament, UNLV lost in the second round to UC Berkeley. After the end of the season Bennett declared himself for the NBA draft after being convinced to do so by teammates. During the off-season, he underwent shoulder surgery.

Yes, he is putting up appalling numbers and any number of rookies should have been drafted ahead of him. ...

Yes, he's a 6'8 PF - which players like Mike Beasley and Derrick Williams show doesn't translate to the NBA well (SF size with a PF game).

But he showed he had range and accuracy in College, so maybe he isn't a bust just yet. No word on how bad the shoulder injury is effecting him, not to mention the #1 draft status. By the end of next season we'll see how he's developed.
