Official 2013-14 NBA Regular Season Thread - SPOILERS!

LOL Faired

I can't believe this! Karl is the 2nd best current coach IMO

BIG loss for Denver! Hope he ends up somewhere like Cleveland or takes over from Pop for a couple of years after they win the Finals! ;)

Wow! I can't believe that! Thats a joke. Karl is one of my favourite coaches and he has done so much for Denver. I am really over coaches getting the sack. As a couch if you don't win a championship that year then you stand a high chance of getting replaced.

Don't worry fellas.... I got this!

  • Doc Rivers deal done to go to Clippers
  • NBA says they will veto any deal involving the Celtics sending Garnett to the Clippers because even though it will be a separate transaction, they will view it as being part of the same deal, and you are not allowed to trade players and coaches together. The only remaining possibility is to get a 3rd team involved.
  • Chris Bosh stayed at the Miami arena for 6 hours following the Game 7 and championship win, trying to hone his jump shot. Apparently he is still yet to hit a shot, at 0-2448 and somehow managed to foul out??
  • Patty Mills exercised his player option and will remain a Spur in 2013-14
  • Derrick Rose is planning to make his return to the NBA on January 14 2014. He said he is mentally and physically ready to start the season on day 1, but has too many f***ing Panini redemptions to catch up on first!
  • Denver hired Brian Shaw as head coach
  • Andrew Bynum is still a douchebag
  • Grizzlies found replacement for Lionel Hollins from within, promoting David Joerger to head coach
  • Cavs still have no f***ing clue what they want to do with the #1 pick
  • Scottie Pippen knocked a fan the f*** out in Malibu. Witnesses say he kicked him threepeatedly as well, 6 times in total as well
  • Kevin Durant became the first player to sign on to Jay Z's 'Roc Nation' management company. Apparently Jay Z wants to manage the guy that frequently devastates his Nets
  • Spurs' assistant Mike Budenholzer has been hired as Head coach of the Atlanta Hawks
  • Metta World Peace is potentially opting out of his contract
  • Dwight Howard has signed a five year deal with a large babies dummy manufacturer
  • Spurs and Timberwolves will play one regular season in Mexico during 2013-14
  • New Orleans is still fishing for ideas on where they can play next year. Their current sanctuary is not large enough to accommodate the flocks of people that come to their games and they are thinking of migrating to another stadium.
  • After receiving great returns from signing Kurt Thomas, Jason Kidd and Rasheed Wallace for 2012-13, the Knicks are now trying to qualify an offer to Bill Russell for 2013-14

Now everyone is up to date!

You forget one update Adam
- Kobe will reportedly be back when the season tips off as he would have had enough of watching everyone else take all the shots in the pre season games
Hahaha

Torn Achilles or not, he is DONE sharing the ball! lol

Bulls fans often to point to the 2006 draft-night trade of Aldridge for Tyrus Thomas as one of the team's biggest mistakes. It helped set the stage for lottery night 2008, so there's not much point in second-guessing now. Word is, Aldridge wants to escape from Portland's rebuilding project and has made it known that he'd like to land in Chicago. Deng for Aldridge won't get it done. The Blazers want Joakim Noah in return and the Bulls don't want to give up the superior defensive big man. Arlington Heights Daily Herald
