Official 2013-14 NBA Regular Season Thread - SPOILERS!

Oh yeah...suffering a bit of short term memory loss... ;)

Edit: Are Pacers about to become the second biggest chokers in NBA history?

Spurs look unbeatable at the moment! What an awesome second half to the season...

The Pacers have been horrid of late, I think they're gonna struggle to get to the East Finals (I bet a friend a month ago:))

But the Playoffs are a different beast and they should pull together. But if they don't have home court vs Miami, I think that would be so deflating that Miami could sweep them or win 4-1.

Great to see the Spurs back to winning ways, tune in to see Patty Mills light it up as they rest Tony Parker down the stretch (I presume).

Who gets the 2 last spots in the West?

I think Mem and Pho have been the better teams but Dirk looks to be willing his team in there.

16-0 run by the thunder to start the 4th against the Kings and this one has suddenly become a blowout. Sadly, KD has not checked in for the 4th and he's on 23 points :( Looks like Oscar will hold on to that 2nd spot for longest streak of 25+ points.

And that will do it for KD's 25+ points streak having sat the entire 4th quarter out. Again. There's always next season... :D

A couple of great games today.

Heat/Grizz was a gem.

Heat just don't have enough right now, plus on the B2B against a desperate Mem team, Conley came up huge. Mem D was pretty solid too.

Clips/OKC was up and down, OKC had some big leads but Clips kept coming back. Then Wbrook had some big plays down the stretch to seal it. OKC are looking the favourite to come out of the West IMO.

Westbrook had some huge plays towards the end...the put back jam and the big rebound in traffic. KD made a timely 3 pointer despite an off night, and according to ESPN this MVP race is over. 93% voted that he would win the MVP and it would seem like it. Best story line by far: beats MJ's 40 game streak of 25 points or more, breaks the Spurs 19 game winning streak, holds off the hot Clippers, carries the team with Westbrook out for over 30 games and Thunder missing Perkins and Thabo for extended periods, a lot of clutch shooting in the last minute of games including the back to back 3 pointers against the Raptors to pull off an 8 point deficit in under a minute, leading scorer in the NBA at career high 32 ppg while shooting 50% fg, 40% 3pg and 87% ft AND career high 5.5 apg! Lebron was the only one in contention but recent losses to Indiana, Grizz and getting swept by Nets have lessened his shine for the season and his numbers are marginally down from last year too.

Interesting games! Knicks have to beat Raptors and Hawks have to beat Nets who have 15 straight home wins for Knicks to even have glimmer of hope of making playoffs - could be the nail today!
