Next up for McGrady on Thursday is a workout for the New York Knicks, league sources said. Time is running out for the 33-year-old McGrady to secure a guaranteed contract for the season. Minnesota Timberwolves guard Brandon Roy wants to ease concerns about his knees after several weeks of workouts. Roy, who announced his retirement in December because of a degenerated condition in his knees, claim he is satisfied with his progress and is "not holding back" in preparation for the 2012-13 season. "I've had no setbacks," the three-time NBA All-Star told reporters Thursday, Sept. 13, after an informal practice with teammates and several former college players. It really makes you wonder what goes down in Portland. Surely they need to take a good look at their training/rehabilitation staff down there. Hope he gets back to full strength some time soon.

Thought the same thing. Lost out on such a great player!
 
Been a shame about Portland. That team had great talent but all fall apart due to injuries. I still think they don't have a bad roster, it's decent

Now I think about it, i'm sure there was an article online buy some rehab guy that was contacted by the trailblazers and he was saying how the guys there caused more injuries with their dodgy techniques. I'll have to find it one day when i'm not on my phone.
