Official 2011-2012 Playoff thread

If it werent for the beard and one being a white boy you would think harden and manu are twins... The bearded one makes the right plays at the right time!

This is all too much. It feels like okc should be like 20 up, can't see them losing but who knows. They're playing great ball, I just don't want Lebro getting a title!!

Wow! 2pts does NOT give OKC enough credit!

The only people that kept SA in the game are Westbrook and Manu. Manu scoring like crazy in the third and Westbrook being unable to get it to KD, instead, trying to play keepings off??

Would need a miracle to make it to Game 7! It's as good as done for me!

*edit* Last 3 pointer was waved off! Made it a 5 pt game

Sa will be lucky to get within 20 next game. Turnovers in first quarters of all but 1 game have been huge. Come on celtics!!!!

that was nuts! harden came up big for us.
OKC playing Spurs-basketball with different guys stepping up every game

It probably won't make sense, but i think that win was more critical for OKC than it would have been for SAS. Meaning that the odds for Spurs to win the last 2 games is higher than if OKC had to win 2 games.

Obviously with this OKC win they have a better chance of winning the series. Had OKC lost this game I would have written them off. But right now I am not prepared to write off SAS.

on a side note. why was parker flopping so much? not crazy CP3/wade flops, but bad enough to affect his own game because it's making him slip over and blowing plays. I've watched quiet a few spurs game this season and I've only noticed it late in this game. it's like he has no energy left

I think he's flopping because he is frustrated at how well okc are defending him. I'd be feeling pretty safe if I were you, okc are playing a lot harder and deserve to go through. From a sa point of view we have a guy wearing no 21 who has won us 4 titles, I understand he is old but bball is an inside first game and they just didn't call enough plays for him. Many is not going to stay hot the whole game.

Being a Mavs fan, I've always said who ever knocks us of deserves to win it all, in saying that, the Spurs are far from done! They still have that veteran leadership, and can still win. It's a tough tough ask, but not impossible.

OKC have definitely matured alot, and I dare say last year's playoffs has something to do with that. I honestly can't see MIA or BOS beating the Thunder in a 7-game series. I still believe the Spurs can, but I don't see the Eastern Conf winning it against them. MIA would probably knock off the Spurs, but that would depend on who's playing.
