Awesome, don't think any nba fan could ask for two better match ups in the conf finals. Of course if your team did'nt make it then you'll totall disagree, which is understandable.
So who do we like to go through? Can 1 or both of the veteran teams sneak through the 2 gun young stud teams??? Or is it out with the old and in with the new?
Boston vs Miami = Both teams don't have a whole lot of depth and will rely on their starters. Celts eyes have certainly lit up without Bosh being there. This really has to be K.G's series. He's got enough juice left I reckon. I'm going to go with the Celts in 6. They own 3 of the 5 starting match ups and have a better bench IMO (just). Unless Bosh can come back I think the vets can hold off the Heat. Ray Allen does'nt need to play great, he just needs to come though in a couple of the games. Rondo is also HUGE in this series.
I really can't wait for this one to kick off. Please Celts, stop the Heat here
Spurs vs OKC = What to say (I'm sh*tting myself). I hate that the Spurs are now favourites. Needed the Thunder to be very confident and people saying the Spurs are too old. The key really is at the pg position. Westbrook can be frail at times, this is something that needs to be exploited. As good as his jump shot is, he's in love with it and I'd get my money on the Spurs pushing him out that 1-2 feet more than where he likes it.
I'm going to be very nervous the next week or two. The other key is in the coaching, Pop is one of the best thinkers ever in the game. He definately has it on Brooks (as good as he is).
This is going to be a great series also.
I'm gonna follow the heart over my head and say Spurs in 7.
The best thing is that I really don't think there's one team you could say is heavily favoured in either series, could go either way. Even if they're short series' I'd say the games will be tough and of a higher standard than what we've seen in previous rounds.
The best time of the year is here.
