No wonder Peter Doust was in the paper this week talking up that it was not an issue as far as they were concerned that Beau Scott signed for the Knights.
i heard soward has been given permission to look around at other clubs dont no how true it is i really hope not if it is true doust is an absolute w$nker . we real need to oust doust he should of been gone along time ago
I think it was early to mid of 2008. He went missing a few times and didn't turn up for training. I can't recall him being in the top squad but he was not in the 20s. He must have been contracted and playing in QCup. The story is his partner had a baby and was home sick so he kept going back home without telling anyone.
They are saying on NRL on Fox tonight that DCE asked for a release because Dez promised him more money before he left and now the board wont give him an immediate upgrade. He is on a minimum contract which i think is like $60,000 per year.
I wont be surprised to see him go. When it comes to off field affairs Manly cant run a chook raffle.

hey, enough of that blade, at least we're not in the third incarnation of our club, lol. and we have done very well over the past three seasons to offload that thing at the death. hopefully that won't be an issue this year
The Gold Coast Gladiators were between Seagulls and Chargers. They played in the world 7's in 1996 before their licence was revoked by the ARL and the Chargers were born.
