he was sacked from the titans toyota cup wasn't he?

I think it was early to mid of 2008. He went missing a few times and didn't turn up for training. I can't recall him being in the top squad but he was not in the 20s. He must have been contracted and playing in QCup. The story is his partner had a baby and was home sick so he kept going back home without telling anyone.

They are saying on NRL on Fox tonight that DCE asked for a release because Dez promised him more money before he left and now the board wont give him an immediate upgrade. He is on a minimum contract which i think is like $60,000 per year.

I wont be surprised to see him go. When it comes to off field affairs Manly cant run a chook raffle.
