Fien you are joking, he wants to play 1/2back, Fien has played 2 years too long....
King is our best hooker, and I rate Garvey and Cook our lower graders better than Rein, for some reason Price loves Rein, I would take King over Rein everyday of the week and twice on Sunday's...

Garvey's great, and I think King has too much muscle for the frame he has. Mad talent and gusto, but comes at a pretty high injury rate.

Gee Cows shouldve just held onto segeyaro, now they keep stuffing around running two or three hookers in moore, rory and ray ray. Bloody ridiculous. If theyre making a play at cameron king then it's even more confusing.

Widdop playing deep out the back to Dugan giving him the space he needs and Williams playing short to Thompson and Creagh on the edges and Merrin in the middle, very exciting propositions

Yep, go them former raiders. Also excited to see Bronson playing better this year, not to mention the talent that Frizell has. Pretty excited for you red v supporters. bastards.

From a Dragons Fan
Just had lunch with a player manager who looks after Tigers/Eels players & he said the following:
* Sheens is on his way to us
* Evander Cummins is going to be granted a release as he sees no opportunities.
* King & Prior have been approached by Parramatta & would be silly dollars wise not to go
* Morale at Parra is at rock bottom, according to the players far worse than under Kearney because of Stickys propensity just to blow up.

There definitely will not be a 3rd consecutive Wooden Spoon for the Eels in 2014.

Look at their roster.

I'm not sure if that is an attempt at humour or not, but only adding Hoppa / Norman and Peats wouldn't excite me too much.

Sign Prior and King and you might beat the Tigers for 15th next year. I hope I'm wrong and Parra can turn it around but like above I'm not hearing great things and given how unstable the board is, (Sid Kelly resigned end of June which may trigger yet another election) I doubt there can be any strategic plan or cohesion.

the two pommies are trying to bail out of their deals and now so is hopoate, the same thing will happen again eels for the spoon, stuart to not make it past round 10

I forgot the two pommy props; Hock and Mossop not sure if they are the answer to the halves problem though.

From a Dragons Fan, see how these rumours go..

* Negotiating with Sheens as a coaching director. Price has got 6 games next year to show what he has got and if not Sheens will take over in a full coaching role.

* Creagh to play front row

* Club still paying Gaz's salary this year.

*Coaching staff gave it to Vidot on Tuesday as they are trying to drum it into him to use his shoulders in the tackles. If they could offload him they would.

* Prior looks like going.

* Club definately will get Josh Morris for 2015 but are trying for next year but it depends on how the Bulldogs go with their buys.

* We have got two pommy front rowers, Cooper obviously but I don't know who the other one is. (Eorl Crabtree)

* Dugan has fitted in magnificently and is smarter than most people give him credit. He already owns two businesses in Canberra. He just hated Furner. The rooftop thing was a ruse to get him to tell the club to sack him. He doesn't even ( normally ) drink bacardi!

*Trying to retain the young players but Cummins looks like going. Interestingly still no indication on what Hastings is going to do.

Eorl Crabtree is called the Hulk Of Huddersfield, here is a youtube clip of him!

He has 2 years left on his Huddersfield contract though??

What a great contract Gasnier had, still getting paid when he 'retired'!.

Eorl Crabtree's getting a little long in the tooth these days, a huge man yes but looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane.

I thought it had already been posted here that Evander hates Wollongong and has signed with the Bulldogs while Politis wants Hastings at the Roosters.

Gaz helped get us a Premiership so we happily still pay him, he also still performs a lot of corporate duties so is a valuable asset still returning value to the club.

It may have been posted that Cummins has signed with the Dogs but like much of what we post here it was rumour and not based on any fact, yes he is off contract at the seasons end but at the moment he is still contracted to the Dragons and anyway imagine if he hates Wollongong what he would think of Lakemba?

Uncle Nick might want Hastings but so does Bennett and I'm sure many other clubs, the kid is in demand and at only 17 what's the rush, he's still too young to play NRL week in week out, we identified him at 14 and have been developing him for 3 seasons, I think you may see Cummins or Hastings get a taste of NRL in the next couple of weeks with all the injuries which will be great to watch.

If the Dragons are still paying a player that is retired and including it in the cap then they need to sack there management staff and hire some that have a clue.

Reason he is still been paid is when he rejoined it was for 4 years, the contract increased in value every year, this was to fit him into the Salary Cap, so his first year which he joined part way through was for example worth $160,000, 2nd year was $250,000, 3rd year $500,000 and 4th year $500,000, because he was under valued the first 2 years, the NRL makes you pay a % to get his real worth for those 2 years, stops clubs from rorting, this is what i have been told...
