Prior I wouldn't be to upset to see go why he keeps getting a start at centre kills me whenever I see him line up out there, I don't think he has created a line break or even passed the ball in 4 years. Rein and King both need to stay, the Stanley brothers can stay as long as it is on basic contract only with incentives. Fien does get a bad wrap and IMO has been hard done by a good club man so worth another contract for loyalty alone, again as long as we aren't paying overs and loosing a junior because of it.
I'm liking the squad for next year and Leith if the Eels are top 4 next year then we are certainties for another Premiership.

Widdop playing deep out the back to Dugan giving him the space he needs and Williams playing short to Thompson and Creagh on the edges and Merrin in the middle, very exciting propositions
It would be a smart way for the Eels to recoup some of their wasted cap space, by simply providing him a portable pokie, following him around and collecting, that would subsidise his $600K+.
In fact if they could turn that into a 3rd Party deal they could have him pay his own salary and get him off the books.

I's a pretty cruel comment to make about a person who obviously has an addiction to gambling, remember that Hindmarsh admitted he squandered $$$$ and only goes to show that RL players aren't immune to addictive traits that can see them consumed, we all have our vices, just some more than others, while it may seem funny to take the piss we must have some compassion for players like this.

.@RaidersCanberra Fullback Anthony Milford’s manager Sam Ayoub confirms he has written to the club asking for a release #NRLAfter today's effort do you blame him? He was one of very few that had a dig. It is a real shame but I think the Raiders will let him go as it is the decent thing to do. Brisbane are very lucky to have a player of this quality delivered to their doorstep, can't say they are really deserving of it.
