Parramatta Eels officials are resigned to another player turning his back on the club after agreeing to terms. Hot on the heels of the Josh Papalii saga, controversial British prop Gareth Hock now wants out of his Eels deal. Hock has some personal issues – as well as a massive offer from Salford City Reds that landed on his manager’s desk over the past few days. My spies in England tell me Hock is likely to renege on his Eels deal, even though the contract has been registered with the NRL, and take the big pounds on offer from Salford.
Nope definitely Benny Barba, I have heard this from a VERY reliable source, obviously he still needs to sign first. But when I heard it Titans were the favourites, we have his little brother Marmin too
The Penrith Panthers can confirm that halfback Luke Walsh will be released from the club at the end of season 2013.
After four years at Penrith, Luke and his young family will head to England, where he’ll play for St. Helen’s in the Super Rugby League competition.
Panthers General Manager Rugby League Phil Moss said “Luke has made a wonderful contribution to the Panthers and will always be a highly valued member of our club. We wish Luke and his family all the best as they start their new life in England.”
Out of respect for Luke and St. Helen’s, the Panthers will make no further comment at this time.
kind of annoying. i mean he has been more bad then good. but when he plays this "no pressure football" that he calls it, hes not a bad player. put it this way id take walsh over soward any day of the week.
