NRL Finals & End Of Season Thread

The Clash of the Salary Cap Cheats.

At least I can sit back and not give a **** next week and then mingle amongst the winning team's fans and get on it like the next day is a public holiday.

The Dogs are 100% over the Salary cap.... Or at least for next year they will be if they win the comp and all the new ring ins ask for more cash....

Comments from the supercoach. Holds about as much water as your guarantee that the broncos would smash whoever they played in week 1.

Mate I am looking for some. I'm a bulldogs member so an allocation is released tomorrow which I was gonna get but this might be easier. Where are your seats?

Mate I've got an ANZ Stadium membership and requested my 2 tickets hoping Manly would be there!! Will get them early this week but they will obviously be in the Members stand/area which is on the players tunnel / coaches box side of the ground.

Lets face it , if the Dogs win its only because of all the ex Broncos players playing for them....

Your passion for the Broncos is clouding your judgement.

Seriously.....the Bronco's would have about the least influence on the Dogs than any other side in the NRL, the only connection I can think of:

Ennis - Newcastle junior who also played for the Dragons and hasn't played for the Broncos for 4 years
Eastwood - A kiwi who hasn't played for the broncos for 4 years
Stagg- Born in Townsville hasn't played for broncos for 4 years

ah well another year goes by same old story for souths. we had our chances and obviously A. reynolds getting injured never helped but on the night the dogs got the money. Well done to them.I hope thier fans enjoyed last night cause i have a feeling the Storm will roll them. Anyway ill be selling our GF tickets offers anyone( 2 or 4 tickets section 115) and then ill be heading down the lake with my fishing rod and will listen to the game on the radio. Best of luck to the teams that remain and at least now i can relax between souths and supercoach this year has been tough

What drugs are you on? Dogs last year lost
Ryan $250K+
Roberts ~$250K
Warbuton, Hodgson, Armit, Idris, Tandy, Paea and Millington (with varying lower incomes than the first 2) from their 25 man squad and signed only 2
Graham and MacDougal.
They had heaps up their sleeve which they have used for resigning current players and their mid season buys including only $50K for Inu. They also had Michael Lett leave during the year which freed up more $$$.
The only new signing is T-Rex Williams from Manly and it looks like Stagg and Goodwin's departures will help pay a good chunk of that.
HELLO!!!!!!!!

there some people that are so one eyed on this site its pathetic.

HELLO!!!!!!!!

its nice to see im not the only one who can see it. ahaha

All I can say is my season ended a few weeks ago. The refereeing has not help with my post season/finals enthusiasm. Good luck to The Dogs and Storm. I will be watching the game but im more excited about the Bathurst 1000.

I meant 'cap cheats' previously (2002 and 2007-2010) ...didn't mean this season. And I def meant it tongue in cheek.

I thought the dogs played better football and deserved to win. It was funny though that before Pritchard scored, Inu and Perrett had scored all the points. Anyway, for a team that has been in the wilderness and mired to the foot of the table for close to two decades, I thought we had a great season. May Souths build a culture of success like the dogs have and I'll be a happy fan.
