Non paying/late paying members on group buys.

And if SP can't show the money has been transfered then his box of
05/06 UD SPX for $115.50 dlvd.

Don't even bother asking for a cheaper price as you will not like my response.

JAYC has earnt himself a two week ban and no future group buys with a promise a week ago to once again pay. Since then no response to my PM's despite being on the site.

I've lost patience and I probably should of called it sooner.

R3vival you have first crack at the SPX box if the other member can't give me a reason why the money hasn't cleared despite saying he transfered it three to four days ago. I was worried that box would be harder to move and I'd be $115.50 worse off on the CC. :-(

I agree with the comments made, if you're in you're in unless you sort something out prior to the order.

For example, inlast months group buy I put my hand up, but then realised I would not have the money, I realised another member here was after a 2nd box so I PM'd them and Chad and sorted it out quickly.

If you think the time-wise the payment would be pushing it then don't go in! I haven't joined some group buys knowing I may be short of cash and then the next week I have purchased an order on my own. I'm sure it would have been okay to hold it for a few days, but that is still putting someone out who is giving their time generously.

Hopefully the Fleer buy goes well, but if some people do the same Chad, I think you should leave it up to each member to oranise their own purchases.

Damn people for not paying on time. I get that heaps on ebay myself and people wonder why I get so narked when I send them messages asking for payment. I give 9 days so if it falls on a weekend, they have an extra weekend to get themselves together.

Looking for advice.

Spcards after failing to pay on time and finally answering one of my PM's said he paid me 6 days ago. Now the money still hasn't shown up. I haven't shipped the box of course as I was pissed about the hold up in the first place.

Now he hasn't logged on for 4 days and hasn't replied to my PM's asking if he made a banking error. It was the same PM that went to everyone so the details i sent him were correct.

I'm still out of pocket $115.50 for his box THREE weeks after I paid for it. I know people have lives outside here but surely even if you don't log on here you get a notification email. Unless he is away but you would think he would mention that or PM as to why his box hasnt' turned up?

Now what to do? Im still out of pocket, getting nowhere and would like to onsell it to members that want it if I can.

Anyone chat to him on msn??

Not very happy about the whole thing and I hope his PM saying money is in and ship to ........blah blah blah wasn't an attempt to rip me off as I'll just hit the button to the special users forum.

just my personal experience, but ive had only one deal with him and it turned out pretty poorly. he is the one who sent me my autos in a plain envelope and who i negged. he then bitched and moaned and said "why didnt you contact me first, so we could work out a partial refund or something", so i said ok and got the neg removed. as soon as the neg was removed he ignored all further PMs from me and didnt give me a refund or anything.

Thats exactly what has happend Jvalles.

Box is up for sale in the For Sale forum. After saying he would get back to me ASAP after what he said was a banking error NOTHING. He doesn't seem to be too worried about stuffing me around and over $100 out of pocket. I know some can't get online all the time but a little effort isnt' much to ask seeing i put the effort in ;-)

Another banned from future group buys and a 2 week holiday from ozcards for all the trouble. Group buys are for everyone but if this keeps up there wont be any.

Im sorry to hear about all this Chad, and i think a 2 week ban is being leniant.

If i had any spare cash at the moment i would buy it but being close to Christmas and 2 little kids, money seems to be dissapearing very quickly at the minute

I hope this doesnt affect future group buys, and to SPCard and JayC, shame on you scumbags :S

Chad,
you gave a the buyer plenty of warning, and to me you have been as fair and reasonable as possible on this one. There is nothing more that you could or should have done regarding this deal.

If any member puts their name down to buy a box, It's your personal responsibility to ensure that your payment goes through and to ensure that your side of the deal is completed in a quick and efficient manner.

If Ozcard members can't or don't believe they can hold up their end of the deal, they shouldnt be requesting to be part of the deal.

Simple as that.

like i said in the other thread, ban the ****er permanently. 2 weeks is too lenient. im biased i guess cos SP screwed me too in the past but still, does ozcards really need disrespectful assholes like that?
