What a game it was, what a win for the pies too.
Dale Thomas looks good, Jason Cloke was close to BOG as was Obree.
Good win without Bucks, Burnsy, Clement, Wakelyn, Reece Shaw and Rustling
compared to the saints losses of Kositske, X Clarke and Ralph Clarke.
Pies vs Dockers next week in Perth.

bump this thread up a bit, big game tonight.
RD 2 Demons Vs Lions (TD)
its delayed here, starts at 10:30pm
but i will be treating it as a live game like i always do for delayed games.
confident about this game with our team for this week. some big inclusions including skipper david neitz, carroll, whitey (1st game back since he cracked his skull against the cats), read, wheatley, and nicho the dinosaur.
the lions are without skipper michael voss but have quite a few additions with aker headlining the lot. and the irish player colm begly makes his debut for the lions.
what im looking for as a dees fan:
- nathan jones to really step it up and rack up the disposals. Darwin's heat didnt help him one bit nd now he is back to his home town in front of his family and friends.
- slyvia to turn some heads
- a high scoring affair
- and to win by a comfortble margin
go the dees, paying 7.50 for the nab cup.

c'mon the pies this sunday we are bout 1000:1 to win against the dockers IMO but who cares, some new players to be playin this week too. wakelyn to return as will heath shaw. Danny stanley look out for apparently some big raps on him (supposdly a steal in the draft pick 22 as i recall).

This afternoon I'm off to York Park (Aurora Stadium) for the Hawks - Crows match... though I am going to get there for the Tassie Devils practice match against Myrtleford starting about 3:25pm.
I imagine that the Hawks will get their arses kicked... but I am hoping for a miracle... they can lose next week... just want them to win this week while I am actually at the game.
Will be cool watching them play under lights though... shame our record under lights is not very good...

Well that sucked - lost by two goals... umpiring was inconsistent but the biggest problem was skills... we had pathetic hands, some clean usage of the ball we would have kicked some more goals, add to that Franklin always wanted to be the hero and Ladsan was afraid to kick at goal...
and Roughead takes a couple of good grabs kicks a couple good goals but buggers up the one that matters...
