Nice collection Walshy!

But nothing can beat yours Brad, very nice collection! I was just wondering, where and how much can you get the Mini-bat (Frames/Cases- Whatever you want to call them) from?

Yes Walshy is the super sleuth, they are the mini bat frames i bought.

Great seller, arrived extremely well packed and very fast - I highly recommend them Warney. I think he did a deal like 6 for $150 from memory...

Here are a few of my things
79-80 WSC bat signed by Australia England and West Indies
Balls signed by:
Lillee, Thommo, Joel Garner, Sir Richard Hadlee and the slightly aged white ball was used in the first commercial by the West Indies, for those who recall it was thrown into the air by a West Indies player while the ad was played (purchased from the Ch 9 Producer)

I imagine that it was limited edition but this was in the early days, the Benson & Hedges stickers is a gem.
I waqs there when Rick McCosker got his jaw broken and when he came out to bat. For anyone who was there you will get the tingles looking at these photos, I am getting then even now. The guy definitely had guts.
I have attached the producer from Channel 9's ID tag for WSC, it was high tech in it's day, but they even had glitches back then because they got his name wrong. It only has one D in his surname. He was fantastic to talk to about the history of the items I got from him.
I love WSC especially because I lived in the Latrobe Valley and WSC in Melbourne was played at Waverley Park and was better to bet to for me even though it was a huge trip for us in those days. Anyway if anyone has got early WSC items please let me know, regards Russell (I need to photograph and scan more items from my collection)

Great WSC items Russell!! Love the old WSC memorabilia.

This is probably my best early World Series item - unused cap of the "World XI" circa 1978 (with World captain Tony Greig in World XI strip....back before the Panamaaaaaa hat went everywhere with him!):
