How big are the photos you are trying to upload ?

No wonder it is slow. Resize them and then reupload them.

Which windows are you using ?

i'm not using windows, using Mac. Won't worry about it now because i have to go out to pick up relatives from the airport..

Maybe a photo program on the mac like iphoto or something ?

It is taking so long because you are trying to upload 3meg on your internet connection and the server also has a restriction on how big files can be that it will attempt to resize as well.

Resize them in a photo program to something like 800px wide, then upload them and it will work properly.
