ok well last week i watched the scariest movie i have ever seen, and it was a great movie
dead birds
ill give it 4/5
but saturday night i watched hostage
4/5 also, bruce willis enuf said, hes a champion!!!
you thought that was scary?
Try "The Hills Have Eyes" . I had to turn it off.
Ryan
.
the mist: there are going to be questions and spoilers down below so this is the heads up
I just watched it and there were a couple things that bugged me (spoilers here)
when they were flying around on fire why didn't the fire alarm go off in the store? you know those hanging ones. also what happened to the black guy, (the neighbor?)
I hated the store clerk (gun shooting champion) getting killed off.
and if anyone here has read the book how does the book end?
the movie's ending was depressing
I give it a 3.5/5
Predator- excellent film
evil dead- great
evil dead 2-brilliant
army of darkness- funny yet awesome
night of the living dead (original)- all time classic
if anyone is a bruce campbell fan and hasnt seen Bubba Ho Tep, i pity the fool! awesome movie.
- LOVE IT!!!They're coming to get you Barbara
dawn of the dead -remake, awesome movie, if you like zombie movies check it out, this is the only movie i like the remake better than the original (i think it's cause its an hour or more shorter im not a fan of long movies)
FINALLY checked out AVP-R.
Well, not that great, but not crap either.
I'm still not understanding the last bit with Ms. Yutani and the whole "your world is not ready for this technology" comment....
I've read different stuff on the web that says Weyland-Yutani was something to do with Alien movies, but I have no idea, been yonks since we saw those ones.
Anyways, AVP-R, could have done with more OOOMPF.... kinda was like Res Evil with the whole "blow up the city istead of helping" kinda outcome.
With the new stuff they had in AVP, I would have thought they'd have come with some really cool stuff this time, instead, we got 2 pulse cannons, and a bottle of blue liquid.
6/10 for me.
Juno was great....9/10
Charlie Wilsons War was ok....great acting from Tom Hanks and Phillip Seymour Hoffman lifts the dry political/war storyline....8/10
Cloverfield....8/10....didn't know too much about it before it started, which helped. Very well put together movie from a shooting/editing point of view!!!
Sitting tight waiting for the new Indiana Jones film and Batman Begins. Everytime I see the trailer and that Indiana Jones theme song kicks in, boy does it take me back!
