Freo v St Kilda

yes the Pies got up AJ, quite comfortably. Rocca kicked 5, Tarrent and Bucks 4 apiece.

My view on that Freo-Saints game. Freo should have won they were robbed, but the game is not over until the Umps blow there whistle according to the experts. Very harsh IMO opinion, Saints didnt deserve to win anyhow.
 
that whole situation was a bloody shambles, i hope the AFL do the right thing and give the win to the dockers, they were robbed.
 
Dont you love blind supporting. Damn Im never suprised to see fans argue about obvious calls and then a day like today in Lonnie. Its obvious to eveyone bar the saints supporters the game was done. The fact it went on so much longer is a farce and something should of been done.

Collingwood had ONE good quater and are far from a power. It helps if you go to the game and see it first hand ;-) If it wansn't for that it would of been tight. Port couldn't hold them off for that first 15 minutes. Take a good look at the whole four quarters ;-)

Geez what happend to call it as you see it???

Or is it just seeing it thru one eye ;-)

Just a post out loud. The Pies were beaten in the middle and scored on tunovers for the most part and some bad matchups. Just telling it as it is before the Pies squad goes into overdrive.

If you makes you feel any better I wasn't that happy yesterday even though the Dee's won either.

And obviously MattJ is looking thru Saints glasses ;-)
 
hehe good work... Yeh i thought our midfield looked tied. But in the end i'm satisfied with the result. But hey if Choco cant match us then thats his bad luck.. lol

Yeh Dee's scored a handy win. Poor old Roos nothing seems to be going right for em.

At the end of the day the 4pts is what teams are after, so i think if your team gets up you should feel proud :).
 
saints glasses or not, rules are rules and the game isnt over till the umpire signals, he didnt signal game continues...end of story :)
 
If the siren was not heard by the umpire the first time, the timekeepers will blow the siren a second time....I didn't hear a siren at any stage (on TV). By rights the game should still be going!!!
Freo were robbed...but apparently the AFL has said the result will stand....the TAB are already paying out on the draw. I don't think we've heard the last of this one.
 
Centrebet have paid out on the draw
I thought they might hold off.
I better bet that money I won on something else QUICK!
 
lol allstar...it probably should still be going...i wanna take my one-eyed saints point one step further and say that Bakers second kick should have been in the goal square, and we should have won not drawn!
 
I had relatives in the stand and the siren did go and then again Allstars. The umpires should have looked for some ruling before the first bounce etc. Surely they could of done a better job or had better judgement.
 
I have been to many Aurora Stadium games and that siren is very quiet..... I have no doubt it went....

I was gonna go to that game today but decided I'd rather watch Hawthorn on TV LOL

^5 mate go the mighty fighting hawks... it showed great mental toughness for them to fight back against essendon, I am so proud of our boys.....
 
Apparently any field umpire can blow their whistle once the siren has gone, the thing is why didnt one of them blow there whistle? pretty strange lol
 
:shock: What a crazy day of AFL. Glad I'm not a Freo fan or I'd be pretty damn angry :lol:
I have mixed feelings - feel sorry for the dockers but also think it's quite amusing. Been paid half for today's Pies/Hawks/Saints multi bet. :D

Actually it's hilarious, they were up by 6 goals in the 3rd and 4 goals in the last and the good old dorkers still managed to put themselves in a losing position.

BLOODY ESSENDON go down by a freakin point and gives me 7 in the tipping again this week....cant seem to crack the magical 8 :(
