I have cases Verse, but you don't want to know what they are worth.. lol
This stuff is completely sold out at a distributor level and while these prices hold up for the PMG's the standard box price has every right to be very high.
Arguably you have twice as much chance of hitting a card worth $1k than an exquisite box. Even a Rose rc exquisite auto is worth less than some of these PMG's and Exquisite is $2k per box... so this stuff is probably UNDER priced.... just sayin.

Over hyped....yeah this product is hot right now, and pmgs are going for a mint...but they are only riding the cotails of former products, the pmgs arent even a large set, forty cards as opposed to 97/98, and 08/09 which had a hundred plus, some of these cards with the black and white imposed pictures look like crap! because of the delay on this product and everyone was scratching their heads and talking about it, and whether it would surface, it will be over priced for a while, i suppose the other thing is how many cases were produced? we will all whinge about the price, but we are the stupid ones that will still buy it!!!...AUTOS in this product are a massive let down, if it wasnt for the pmgs...it would have fallen flat completely...i refuse to pay anymore than three hundred a box, becasue the value disappears past this surely!!! YEAH you could pull a card worth a 1K OR two, but you could pull no pmgs, have seen boxes with none, six no name autos and a leonard noyz boyz and james worthy golden touch...busting is a risk i suppose!

There are 9000 total showcase cards
There are 8400 total PMG cards
I know some will hit more than 1:box because of QC, but lets keep it as 1:box
So then; ~9000 boxes / 6 = 1,500 total cases or 180,000 total packs
Moreover;
Fleer 1961/62 1:100 Packs 10 cards 180 of each
Fleer 1986/87 1:20 Packs 15 cards 600 of each
Fleer 1987/88 1:10 Packs 20 cards 900 of each
Fleer 1988/89 1:5 Packs 25 cards 1440 of each

What's the story behind these yellows? did Barney leave them in his donut king store window to long, do they fade like shit even if kept in storage without seeing sunlight? is it best to use a UV Ultra pro magnet case? or is it's fate to end up like a piss color?
Mine came a bit yellow, might be even more yellow now.

For Aussies this is a fantastic release because there is no redemption card in every pack. Some Panini products can be quite a turn off because of all the redemptions.
I'm not a big fan of all that college or some of the retro(don't get me wrong, some retro I love).
The pmg's look sweet, must see in hand.

who freakin cares what the entire product is like.....sometimes it can be one insert set that drives THE WHOLE PRODUCT!!!!

I was replying to a post by Adam about value in the boxes.
This guy said he did'nt get value.
He got 20 PMG's in total and is complaining as if his break was awful!!!!
Unfortunately, just because you buy 3 cases, does'nt give the card gods reason enough to send the best cards your way.
No tall poppy syndrome here, I have better things to spend money on than just cards. Good on him, I hope he's rich, he obviously is. I don't wish the guy bad at all.

I've been one of the very few who rated Fleer Retro, it'll be interesting to see who eats their words as it continues to go up in price and some more awesome cards come out.

There has been some crazy negativity about the product but there's alot of great stuff in there.
People are whining about the pics but it is called Retro. Alot to like about this thing.
Others are whining about the autos, have'nt alot of people been complaining about too many autos these days and where are the inserts?
