I THINK you will lose by 7 goals plus. Ill eat my words if you dont. Judd will get dropped, maybe it will come out that hes being 'rested' but he will want to play but they know they cant afford to keep him in the team.
how was that not deliberate agaisnt Buckley?!?!
I agree - and I always hear the umps say "he was unde rpressure" as a reason not to pay it - but every kick that goes 40 metres or 15 metres or whatever and out of boudns has done so due to pressure!
You either have that rule or you don't....
But Eagles were out on their legs.... and Collingwood had to work way too hard - should stumble against Geelong next week.
I'm sorry, but he RAN out of bounds while trying to BAULK the tackling player. You don't have to prevent the ball going over the line, you just can't put it over the line as your ONLY OPTION. If you want to comment on the rules, you need to know how they are interpreted. The umpires didn't pay one against the Eagles, even though the umpire said audibly "he was under pressure". Now THAT ONE was absolutely deliberate, but he got away with it because the Collingwood players pressured him.....comment on that one.
HOT PIES!!!!!
no need to get Narky...
That was a fair comment by AJ, Buckley was under no pressure and he wasnt balking an opponent at all...
What? It could easily be interpreted that he was trying to turn the guy inside out and get around him. If the free is paid against him, then the umpire has to GUESS that he deliberately took it out of bounds. Do you want that, umpires guessing at crucial times of an important match? Pressure is irrelevant...nowhere in the rule does it say that you can go out deliberately if you are under pressure.

I normally love watching hunter play against us (the bombers) but for the one time i was backing and desperatley wanting the eagles to win i couldnt beleive how much of a spack this guy is.. cannot kick.. well actually can't do anything.. he's the robert lewis-thompson of the eagles..
bad coaching by woosha.. poonda down in the goal square only to be outmanned by anyone collingwood pleased to put on him.. aaron henneman would of had a field day against him too.. glass is the whole backline of the eagles, and almost single handedly won them the game..
the eagles window is closing.. but wait.. all the injuries?? no excuse.. very lucky it wasn't dry..
I hate how the rules change when its wet.. if your pinged your farking pinged.. if your hitting the ball over the boundary with no one around YOUR GONE.. if you drop the ball due to being tackled YOUR GONE.. if you throw the ball YOUR GONE.. if you kick after the whistle and its the other teams free its 50 FARKING METERS.. if your nathan buckley though its ok.. though im talking about both teams doing this blatantly..
if it counts the pies will take out the cats.. 23 points.. they've just taken out the reigning back to back finalists/premiers..
