Didnt seem to miss him much? I have no doubt that they wouldve beaten Melbourne in the prelim final and wouldve put up a far better effort than losing 40-0 against Manly.
Bird was the main reason they even finished equal top of the table.
I just love how all other NRL teams stick with their disgraced stars yet Cronulla give Bird the flick and he was then found not guilty. Now some other NRL team is going to benefit from it. Very uncool.

Didn't they only lose Bird midway through the season? Because he only played the first origin. They may have lost their semis, but the Warriors were one of the form teams in the back end of the comp and got trounced by Manly in their prelim semi as well ... for a team in their first finals series for a while, I thought they did well, but they needed to back it up this season.

The Knights got rid of Terrence Seuseu after he was caught drink driving repeatedly, and I'm glad they did. Seriously, you guys are better off without a loser like Bird.

Sorry, they lost Bird in August, much later than I thought.

Yeah and the Dragons got rid of Wes Naiqama for repeated drinking offences as well.....but I'm pretty sure some club signed him pretty quickly.....


I'm not a Bird the person fan but he is a leader on the field and worth plenty but I wouldn't associate my brand with his name.
