Hello, Just wondering why I was charged $5 for shipping when the postage label was $0.97 and it wasn't even sent in a padded mailer?
Response: When it out of the country I take time and go to the Post Office and stand in line for 40 to 60 min. just to mail your card! other venders charge up to $7.50 for Any thing out of the US.
So what he's saying is if its domestic it flys from his house straight to the customer and he doesn't have to go to the post office? And because other sellers charge more than him its ok for him to do it.
He has already left me a positive and quite frankly I'm sick of sellers profiting from shipping.
^ Yeah, go ahead 'Toine, that dude deserves a neg, if not, a neutral at the very least.
That's simply a joke of a reason. I've had to sell some of my stuff on eBay as of late. I should've charged $50 to charge and cover for my shipping fee as I had to sacrifice my lunch time to stand on the PO to ship their items too.
I hate that too, get it al the time, but can't say it's not expected as I usually know what they are charging but still have the urges to bid even though I run the risk of getting ripped a little.
when you guys sell stuff, do you leave positive feedback for the buyer when they pay?
We should start a sticky or something with a list of sellers who are ripping off on shipping. If they knew how many people were viewing it might straighten them out.

Yeah, that lame reason alone deserves a neg or neutral.
Common sense would be, to go and head home and try to ship it tomorrow. I doubt most people have the patience to stand in queue for 1 hour to send out a card.
I know I cannot do that because of work. My lunch break isn't that long.

I could be wrong...I'm basing this on what I see in movies and on TV...but in the US can't the postie pick up and deliver from your mailbox....I'm assuming that would be for domestic mail only, if it still occurs.
I would go neutral - just so he gets the message that it's not acceptable - especially the no bubble pack - envelope for $5 is a joke.
The worry I have is if we start bagging too many US sellers they'll make their auctions US only and then we miss out on cards we all want. U have to give a little I reckon but no bubble pack for $5 is poor
Ok well I emailed him back just to see if he would care to be reasonable but a rude reply again definitely warranted the Neg.
Rude seller who hugely overcharged on shipping with no padded mailer!

all this crap about "I had to go to the post office and stand in a queue to send the card"...well buddy, thats part of the transaction...I buy your card, you get it to me...
like ive said in other threads...Ive had it...Im just buying off this one guy with the monster drob collection! LOL
Yeah thats right, its just getting rediculous. I remember the days when sellers charged between $1-2 and $3 was high. If they don't ship internationally anymore then so be it, I'd rather not buy off sellers like that. But if they do maybe they'll start to get the picture we're getting fed up!
That said I have had other sellers charge $5, but they use a padded mailer, its well protected and thicker sometimes causing the postage to be higher and they are polite (I often find Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan etc, the asian sellers to be MUCH more polite) so I DON"T leave a negative. But they are running a business and its about service as well as product. If you go to a restaurant and the waiter is rude and tells you how it is do you put up with it? No you COMPLAIN!
