It may be 200 vs Bangladesh and yes they may not be flash, and it may have taken 400 odd balls. But in the 3 innings played against them so far he is the only batter to hit a double ton on this tour. For a bloke that bats at number nine thats a fair effort in my books! Good on ya DIZZY last week he was sitting home in Adelaide celebrating the Birth of his baby Daughter today 31st Birthday and 200 runs A true Champ

BUt Drew it woulda been Punter this innings if not for being run out... though I do agree... BLOODY good effort...

cos fact is doesn't matter how crappy the attack.... you still have to make the runs.....

Hmmm well Dizzy seemed to think there was one cos he lamented the fact he did not go through when called..... I am only basing my comments on what Dizzy said about it cos I haven't seen the footage.... *shrug*

But I am of the belief you go when yer captain calls you, cos Ponting obviously woulda been running to danger end.... and I know Steve Waugh ran a few people out.... God that irritated me....

I saw that on the news last night. Its funny how bangladesh is being killed by a specialist bowler.

sure shows you the ups and downs of life a few months ago he was dropped from the team after the Ashes and now the birth of his first child and 201no and is bowling pretty well and getting wickets putting himself back in the picture!

What is funny is that Nafees got the award for highest run scorer with 250....had Gillespie batted again he could quite easliy have gotten that award as well.....or even if he had batted half decent in the other test match :lol:

He could've been leading run scorer with that 1 innings. I was joking with my cousin that he should've batted on to 334 and tied Bradman & Taylor's former record.

Yup good point, you still have to make the runs and there sure is a lot of ways to get out to crap bowling........you know what they say - sh*t gets wickets !!!
