The all stars I've had since '06, the rockets since '08 and the lakers for 3 years. Have had the CP3 for 3 years and the Pels for about a month lol. The CP3 is the fake and so far is in pretty good nick considering it's been worn, and trained in, and played some pickup games in. Just because it's from China doesn't always mean the quality is poor, if you know where to look
true but dont forget some people cannot afford the real thing
Are these same people also ok with having a fake MJ auto in their collection because they cant afford the real thing?
i think you might wanna check those links mate
Comparing apples with oranges there aren't you? You don't go around in public wearing a hand signed jersey. I wouldn't want a fake hand signed jersey by a player. Besides, whilst I'm sure everyone would like an MJ auto card, not nearly as many can afford it, and as a result do not own one.
Adidas manufactures their jerseys in Korea anyway, the only premium your paying for most of the time is the resellers cost of overheads. If it's quality looks good, and won't fall apart I don't see the harm in it if you can't afford the real thing. It's no different to downloading music, it's frowned upon but everyone does it at least once
This is a fair point, it's so rare to find anything in australia that's authentic that isn't all the regulars, kobe lebron etc. if the argument truly is about helping Australians and the industry in australia, then I'd say the industry is the one doing the most harm to itself by not providing a wider range of products. So by purchasing the "real deal" from the nba store overseas I am actually protecting Aussie jobs as oppossed to buying almost identical fakes from Asia? Even if I wanted to buy from footlocker or rebel, they never have the ones I want so I'd have to go online, authentic or not
Nope i dont know you nor did i pretend to. Pls point out where I blamed you for the economic problems of Australia?
YOU quoted/responded to my post with incorrect information and contradiction.
Coz you see if people like you continually condone that its ok to buy this fake garbage (online, wherever they sell this s***)
Youre directly affecting the jobs of a lot of Australians. So if "you dont see the harm" in this, then you need open your eyes
Let's get back to
A) being civil towards each other
B) talking about the topic at hand
Yep but let's do it without throwing accusations at each other. It's not pretty (from both of you) and other members are reporting it for poor behaviour towards each other.Sorry Andrew... but are we not talking about the topic. Fake jerseys?
