hahaha awesome rant/thread! I'm one that always contacts prior unless, as you say, it's a card I really want then I don't care much as long as it arrives!
PS: You have all been charged for my time and hot Milo I had when writing it seeing none of you bothered to clear with me what my costs were for posting
Its about time that one of the Mods say something about this...
If we knew the cost of the postage before we bid then why would we worry (or even bring it up here) when we received the envelope and seeing that they only pay 90 cents for the stamps...
Maybe we need to train ourselves to not look at the stamps when we receive the envelope... Man, its worst when you dont get the card... That's when I think we should get pissed off!

Couldn't agree more.
Everyone complains how much they pay, but if the reverse happened ie you were charged $10 for s&h but the postage was actually $20 (i'm talking more about boxes than singles), would you email the seller and say i owe you more the shipping?
I know I do (being more of a seller than a buyer these days) and 100% of the time they have said don't worry about it.
You can't have the cake and eat it too.
I think you shouldn't pay more than $5 for regular s&h anyway, so no point in whinging about it if they charge more.
Just get them back when you sell something. I do.
Charge $A7.50 and most of the time it costs $1.10-$1.95

Coincidence???
Got a parcel yesterday and the seller paid $24.60 for postage... He only charge me $20...
I e-mailed him about it and asked if he wants the difference. So let's see what he says... I'll post his reply...
Hey thanks for sending me the message. Yea when I went to the post office I did not know heavy items were that expensive lol. But since I quoted you $20 I didn't want to ask you to send the extra $5.00. If you want to that would be greatly appreciated to even out the cost for shipping but don't feel obligated. And I really appreciate the consideration and if you do feel like sending the extra $5.00 here is the paypal addy just in case you don't have it *******************.
Glad you got the package safely and very fast, Thanks again.
