And talking of crowds, they are obliterating the A League and even CA can't be disappointed with BBL or the 52,000 who rocked up day 1 to a "dead" test vs the WI. That's why talk of expansion should be left for the moment. Got all bases covered IMHO though they could bring in Canberra at Manuka.the product is great, it's scheduled well, its short and sweet, and has no pretensions.

Got to see that hitting from both he and Lynn from ground level, it was brutal!

Poor old heat, can't take a trick, very much a one man team at the moment. Still 29k+ fans for a team that hasn't won in forever is a good turnout

I am eagerly awaiting the Stars vs Renegades game on Saturday night (which incidentally is part one of a double header!) In the words of Muhammad Ali: "We gonna get it on, cos we don't get along!"

The hitting of Daniel Christian and Chris Lynn last night was incredible - you don't often get two players who just "GO" in the one game like that.

I was talking to Mitchell Starc this morning about his injury and he is 100% out for the rest of the summer. He was also alittle bummed out about not being able to play for the Sixers this season but he assured me that once his "Moon boot" is no longer needed on his foot he will be back faster than ever. If you watch this sport for long enough, you get to see quite a few new things. Some amaze you, most don't. Tonight, Travis Head scored the last 56 runs of the Adelaide Strikers' innings ON HIS OWN!!! Seven sixes in 14 balls..give me a bloody spell Travis!!

What a great three games in a row to end 2015!

How good is the BBL going! 80,000 at a BBL domestic game tonight.

Well done people of Melbourne. What a success for Cricket, bringing people to the cricket who would not otherwise go.

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, however it is surely bringing a wider audience to our game....
