Kyrie has a chance.
slim one but still

He's at over 97% chance to make it. I would put that at slightly better than slim...

Despite the craziness, when he gets to 20k points he will be a lock — if he isn't already.

The only 20k scorers who are eligible for the Hall of Fame and are not in are Antawn Jamison (20042), Tom Chambers (20049), Joe Johnson (20407) and LaMarcus Aldridge (20558). Carmelo Anthony (28289) goes in this year. So, pretty much get 20k and you are golden!

Per co-pilot AI, some food for thought....

Looking ahead to players who could make the Hall of Fame from 2040 to 2050, we need to consider younger stars and rising talents whose careers are still evolving. Here are some possibilities based on their current trajectories:
  1. Jayson Tatum: If his career continues its upward trend, with strong scoring performances and potential championships, he could be a Hall of Fame candidate.
  2. Ja Morant: A dynamic playmaker, his athleticism and impact on the game could pave his way to the Hall.
  3. Zion Williamson: If he can stay healthy and deliver on his immense potential, his unique skill set could make him a strong contender.
  4. Anthony Edwards: With his scoring ability and charisma, Edwards has the potential to be a generational talent.
  5. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: His remarkable rise and all-around game are making him an elite player to watch for future honors.
  6. LaMelo Ball: With his playmaking skills and star power, his career could include significant accolades.
  7. Victor Wembanyama: The much-anticipated young player has the skills and hype to become an all-time great if he lives up to expectations.
  8. Scoot Henderson: Another rising prospect, his mix of talent and drive could lead to a Hall of Fame-caliber career.
These predictions depend on players reaching their full potential, staying healthy, and achieving team and individual success. It'll be exciting to see how their journeys unfold! Any favorites among these future stars?

Looking toward potential NBA Hall of Fame inductees from 2045 to 2055, it's all about recognizing the impact of the younger players currently rising or just beginning their careers. Here's a speculative list based on current talent and promise:
  1. Chet Holmgren: With his size, shooting, and defensive skills, he has the potential to become a generational big man if he fulfills his potential and stays healthy.
  2. Amen Thompson: Known for his athleticism and versatility, he could carve out a unique legacy in the league.
  3. Ausar Thompson: Like his twin, Ausar's skillset and adaptability could lead to a stellar career and potential Hall of Fame induction.
  4. Evan Mobley: Already recognized for his defensive prowess and potential two-way excellence, Mobley could achieve a Hall-worthy career.
  5. Paolo Banchero: As an NBA Rookie of the Year with immense offensive talent, his trajectory points to long-term greatness.
  6. Jalen Green: An elite scorer with room to grow, Green's development will define his Hall of Fame candidacy.
  7. Jaden Ivey: With his speed and scoring ability, his future could include accolades that position him for the Hall.
  8. Dyson Daniels: As an Australian player with a broad skillset, he could be a consistent contributor on both ends and rise to Hall-level recognition.
These players have incredible potential, but the Hall of Fame journey is often shaped by longevity, championships, and the mark they leave on the game. Their stories will be thrilling to watch. Who from this list do you think has the highest ceiling?

Scoot Henderson is a wild pick!
Jaden Ivey is an out there one too imo!
Hard to pick any names off of that second list just yet, Paolo has the best chance imo but not too high on the rest being HOFers - I'm expecting Chet = Grant Hill type injuries...

Scoot has no shot! Literally and proverbially!
