Thanks guys and gals.

The seller's ID is bobgolfer.

Has 2 negs. Wish he had a 3rd...

I wouldnt recommend any dealings with him.

not happy about this situation i was a winning bidder for a auction of his about 2 weeks ago, same $11.50 for postage and total for the card was $119.65 us delivered, have not received card yet. And i am quite happy to leave this idoit neg feed back. when i asked him why postage was so much this was his responce (i put this in a previous thread also)

Andrew,

Whoever shipped you the card for $4.00 did so against rules established by paypal. I did this before and it cost me $150.00. Paypal dictates that all items be shipped by Priority mail w/ signature confirmation. Failure to do so leaves me liable. I used to offer the common mail service. I shipped a card to Taiwan and did so to an unscrupulous individual who claims he never got it. Paypal took $150 out of my account and gave it back to him. Meanwhile, the customer kept the card (an Iverson autograph). The amount listed on your invoice is direct from ebay's calculator. I hope this adequately explains the shipping. Please reply w/ any questions.

Thanks.... Bob

I've had a few sellers take ages to post out the card. I had 2 in the one week, where I had been waiting 2 weeks for Global Priority, but hadn't seen the card. I sent a question to them through eBay, and a week later my cards arrived.

Had a little chuckle as 1 parcel was postmarked 1 day after my query, and the 2nd parcel was posted 2 days after the question. At the time I thought both sellers were jokes, but I was glad to receive the cards.

If I Was You I Would Email The Response From The Seller To Ebay As Those Threats Are A Violation Of Ebay Ethics And They Do Come Down Hard On People That Threaten Other Users.
And I Would Also Leave A Follow-up Response That Is A Bit More Negative To Your Positive Feedback.

Holy Moly I Read Your Post Six Times.

Anyhow, Scotty I think what you should do is get the seller's details from eBay (i.e. request details) and give him a call. Just add 00111 in front of the number. I prefer to deal with these matters in person, as most people are bunny rabbits on the phone and perfectly reasonable.

I think you'll find the guy did send the card out but stuffed up by sending it late. I once accidentally dropped a card behind my computer, sent a bunch of stuff out that day, and didn't realise until 2 weeks later that I'd fcked up. It could be a genuine mistake.... I say give him a call and see if you can sort it out. If he's an ass, then go ahead and neg him. It's easy for these matters to get outta hand via text...

Thanks guys.

I have forwarded the email he sent me (it was actually THRU Ebay too....) stating that I feel threatened by what he has written.

As for the choice of feedback content, and the negative feedback. My record does speak for itself. And I have no problems with it. I just feel that this guy is one low-life scumbag, and I would love to go with Justin's recommendations.....

Thanks Jimmy. As I've filed a PayPal claim against him, I'm going to leave it in their hands now. I feel that if I were to contact him, I could jeapodise things. (Is that how that's spelt? lol).

A word from the wise.

Also i bought a childress card 2 weeks back was about to email the guy today and I had an email in my inbox stating that my card will be shipped on the 20th (2 days time) as they are badly backed up. so i wont recieve it till probably a month after purchase :( these things happen.

Yeah, report that prick for the stupid threatening email! What a toss. I would leave the complaint up and try and get the refund as well as the card as long as he didn't put tracking on it.
We should open a fake ebay account for pricks like that and run their bids up and just not pay or respond to emails, then leave them a shitload of negs! lol!

shoes did you purchase the card from the same seller as mans ?

and also if the seller sends the card late and it takes a while before you receive it (and in the worse case scenerio you never receive it), would that make it harder for you to get a refund through paypal (providing you paid via paypal) cause it is outside the time frame that paypal sets to make a claim ?

Scotty mate I pretty sure you can file a claim to ebay about leaving the wrong feedback to the wrong person so you should be able to get the feedback removed and then put it thru again. Altho they might ask the seller before they remove it so you might be screwed their.
I found this out the other day when I was sorting out this crap with edge8888.
Should find it in here somewhere
http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/feedback/index.html

Thanks mate.

They cant remove retalitory feedback... WTF...

"The feedback, on its face, has absolutely no connection with eBay, such as personal comments about members, or feedback related to commercial transactions that were not conducted through eBay. This includes feedback that contains any reference to another auction service, or feedback that advertises the goods or services of someone other than the member for whom the feedback was left."

So if this prick leaves me something like he did the other member that someone linked, I could get it removed under this circumstance?

Cool, I should be able to get them to remove my accidental feedback, cos it states here I can:
"A member accidentally left negative feedback for one member when the feedback was meant for another member. Negative feedback intended for another member will be considered for removal only in situations where the member responsible for the mistake informs eBay of the error. The member must already have placed the same negative feedback for the correct member before requesting removal of the accidental feedback. Feedback intended for another member will be considered for removal only in situations where the member responsible for the mistaken posting informs eBay of the error and has already placed the same feedback for the correct member."

Thanks heaps!!! I'll try....

Thats the one mate. Good luck with dealing with the punish that is ebay#-o
No doubt some monkey will reply with some automated reply about it all being to hard for them to acually have to do something for the customer.
But it's worth a try.

They still havent replied to my reported email that I sent them!!!!

I just sent them an email about the feedback I left. So fingers crossed.

Total tossburger!!!

Appreciate the link, that's made my day!!!

The tosser is too scared to leave me a feedback yet. I haven't left him a feedback myself but I wrote him an e-mail (my template after receiving items) that I will leave a positive feedback after his was posted. :p

Ah well. He'll just be the 100's of others that wouldn't leave a feedback for me. Bugger....

if you go to ebay.com the have live help try and talk through it with a real person rather than ebays crappy automated email system

Good points, no doubt that is why they send them so late......
