Unfortunately who ever takes the top job is taking over a poisoned chalice. There playing list as it stands is maxed out and they have lost some decent players.Tigers lose their coach and now their CEO de-registered. Sharks will be chasing a new coach now. https://www.nrl.com/news/2018/12/19...-flanagan-and-wests-tigers-ceo-justin-pascoe/

Fair enough, from the press conference I heard I thought he said he felt bad about doing it or it killed him to do that to a mate ? May of heard it wrong .Hey Joel,
I don't think Russel intentionally threw Flanagan under the bus, he self reported a minor salary cap breach. The NRL seized computers dug deeper and found over 60+ emails showing Flanagan's flagrant breach of the terms of his suspension. Flanagan knew the contact was wrong, lied to the NRL about abiding by the suspensions rules and was given a concession of 3 months based on this. Now they find out he has lied and manipulate them. In my opinion he has only himself to blame and the punishment fits.
I agree the NRL need to find consistency and with the current batch of players facing court on DV and SA I believe when the court findings are handed down there will and should be severe consequences for those found guilty.
Cheers

Saints supporters on twitter i read a few or the fans wanting to trade the Sharks Fines for Corey Norman? thinking sharks getting Norman is more punishment. is this the general line of thinking or just the bitter minority?
The jury is out on the Norman to Dragons deal IMO. It could be a master stroke as it certainly adds depth in and around the spine or could be a disaster if Norman buys a large bag of pingers and heads off to the Casino.
The Dragons have a good record in turning bad boys around, this has to be Norman's last chance to secure a big contract so surely he grabs it with both hands.
It does make me nervous though.

The iorny of Val Homes at the start of the season, as after round 5/6 he was hung out to dry with everyone saying he's not a fullback and shouldn't be playing there, put him back on the wing. Then he went made..... and the rest is history,Valentine Holmes looks like a genius now...Lol
I cross my fingers and hope.Corey is not as bad as he's made out to be. This article sums him up perfectly
