2016 Series II/Honours 3 Rumours and Ideas

Pretty awesome if there are two signatures per team, plus signed guernsey cards!

Who would you guys like signing from your team? From the Eagles I'm hoping for a Jeremy McGovern sig and maybe a Liam Duggan sig (although he did have one in Future Force 2014, but obviously not in Eagles colours).

Great conversation starter mate! I can see myself going bankrupt if I'm not careful regarding this release :-). As a Hawks man I am not too fussed (as we have been very lucky in recent years) but if Gibbo is a confirmed signer, then I would love it if the other was any one of Shaun Burgoyne, Isaac Smith, Cyril Rioli or of course Luke Hodge.

I completely agree, I'm already starting to put some dollars away for this release :D

Has Burgoyne had one in Hawks colours? As far as I can remember he hasn't. If not I reckon he'd be a great choice!

As a Hawk I'd like to see Gibbo and Stratto.

I think the only thing he might have ever signed is a Top Prospect signature or Draft Pick signature whilst at Port Adelaide....certainly nothing card-related in Hawks colours. I guess Select maybe don't want to go back to the well too often (ie you wouldn't think that players that signed in last years release would also be part of this one) - so there is great potential to collect signatures of players you might not even have as Draft Pick signatures from years ago!
 
Apparently Burgoyne had a DPS in 2001 Authentic - so 15 years ago!

It's great that Select are getting a lot of players to sign for the first time, as you said. For example, last year I was very happy to add Darling and Shuey signatures to the collection, as players who were second-round draft picks and so missed out on a DPS. And the names mentioned in this thread indicate this year's release will have more of the same :thumbsup:
 
This might be overly picky, but I just hope the design is better than the Captain Patch cards from 2012. I really dislike the look of the Tap n Play Guernsey cards and much prefer action shots than the "stare into camera as though someone pissed in your cornflakes" look. The Gamebreaker cards from 2004 in my opinion look brilliant!
 
As a dees man I would love a max gawn and Jack viney sig, but seeing as viney has a future force I wouldn't mind someone else who has never had a signed card so maybe a Bernie Vince or Jeff garlett
 
I'd like to see Burgoyne and Gibson sign. Clearly both deserving and Gibson has yet to sign. Burgoyne had a DPS card in Power colours from years back he is definitely due one.
 
Actually the more I think of it the more I would absolutely LOVE a Shiel sig. Absolute gun and doesn't have a sig. Same as watd
 
I love the idea of players who haven't previously signed I'm a saints supporter and I'm not sure if they've been signatures before but I would love Josh Bruce and Tim Membrey two players who weren't valued at there previous clubs but now showing what they've got
 
As a Cats man, I would love to finally see a Corey Enright signature card. Was actually hoping he would have a 300 Games signature card but it wasn't to be.

Mark Blicavs or Tom Hawkins would be nice first timers too.
 
As a Tiger, and if the rumours are true, I'd love to see Miles and Rioli be the signees (imagine pulling a #017 WOW)

Any of Maric, C.Ellis & Titch Edwards be fine also.
