2014 AFL Season - Spoilers Inside

Yeah just pulled up the ad specs PDF, and the match day section is unique to each game. So an ad can target a specific game, state, or cover all games.

Given this ad is targeting Bulldogs fans, I'll have to chase up the Freo/Dogs Record.

Bootsma sacked by Carlton

Misuse of social media, sounds like it was the final straw, as the Press Release made it sound like there was history.

Word on BigFooty was he was sending nude selfies through Snapchat, but that's just one persons rumour.

Edit: and now the story just got a lot more unsavory...

Hall of Fame night tonight - inductees were:

Ern Henfry (Carlton/Perth FC)
Brad Johnson (Western Bulldogs)
Anthony Koutoufides (Carlton)
Warren Tredrea (Port Adelaide)
Andrew McLeod (Adelaide)
Matthew Richardson (Richmond)

No-one elevated to Legend status this year.

How do they come up with who to select for HOF, I have got nothing against any of those players who got in but being a Melbourne supporter surely someone like David neitz stacks up against them and would be a worthy inductee, I'm not sure if they just do a certain number of players each year

Neitz will probably get in one day down the track you'd think - very underrated footballer.

Gee, as much as the cap in spending will effect clubs like mine (Hawthorn) financially, it is no wonder the AFL is serious about equalisation within the competition.

I think that St Kilda and the Western Bulldogs are in enourmous trouble - they are just going nowhere fast. Almost to the point of becoming irrelevant. It is sad in some ways, not so sad in others (as quite often you reap what you sow). I know there will always be teams propping up the ladder but at heart I am a traditionalist and I don't like to see the older clubs struggling to this extent.

Have to agree being a Melbourne supporter, although roosy is pulling us out of the hole I think it's the best decision Melbourne have made in 60 years

Melbourne have a level of passion that they have lacked since the early days of Neale Daniher. Chris Dawes, Bernie Vince and Daniel Cross have added a lot and it is a shame that poor Mitch Clark has retired as from a football point of view it could have been a bloody scary forward line!
