I know, I'm learning fast thanks to this site, your magazine, Card zone's catalog and Dan's collectables book, I stopped collecting NRL cards in the year 2000 and now regret it, It’s costing me an arm and a leg to catch up, I have had to give up smoking, drinking, selling all my coin and car collections.
Is there any NRL card help line. I think I’m fully addicted badly.

I reckon Black Captain cards $150- $200 each & Gold Captain cards $30 to $40 each.

I think you are selling the Gold ones a little short. At only 6 per case and 16 in the set i'd jump all over them at $30-$40.

I think so, I thought they would go for the 50-60 dollar range but what do I know...........

Sounds a bit closer. Thinking of something to compare it to i look back at the DT's in Classic, they were 1:72 as well but 12 in the Classic set so slightly easier to hit (they are /200, these golds are /150)

can't wait to buy 2 boxes. I'm willing to part with anything i get for any roosters. Only going to aim for my team stuff for this series and a common set

Are boxes from news agents safe to buy, are they from searched cases?

They're usually all good. I wouldnt be too worried about searched cases in a series with this many inserts. Sellers aren't gonna search cases just for the sig when there is a op of getting two of the black cards in one case....

Thanks, I think I will go 3 boxes, collect base set and all Dragons insert and trade the rest.
