Spoke to Select about why they didn't do a Guernsey or game card & they said they approach the NRL last year & requested them for this series & NRL replied not in our agenda at the moment. :red: NRL
 
Can I put my order in now for a Scott Prince Black and Gold League Leader off anyone who picks one up and doesn't want to collect it. :)
 
What agenda, or part thereof, would specify the non inclusion of game cards in a trading card release? More likely the NRL representative didn't know what that was. Dubious!

What do you mean by dubious???? NRL approved them back in 2003 & NRL marketing & promotion team wouldn't be worth a pinch of salt if they didn't Know what they are. Don't forget NRL pick the players that go on the common cards & inserts not Select.

Why then?? 2003 was a one off, long time between. A pinch of salt indeed!

I thought the NRL just approved them, they don't actually decide who's on the cards.

Wasn't that a question in the interview with the Select lady that was on here a while ago?
 
Seriously expensive series for the Manly Team collector!!! Not that Im complaining...Was devo when I saw Buhrer listed as the TP for us as I was hoping for DCE but then I was relieved to see he is in the sig redemption set. 37 cards in total for Manly this time round, you may hate them but you know where to send them to as I will be looking to complete the team collection!
 
Select stated a year ago that NRL pick the players that go on the cards not them. As for why so long between drinks I don't know I just asked about why they haven't done any lately.
 
Blade if I happen to be lucky to pull a black captains card and it's Titans I'll trade you for the Raiders terry Campese one if you get that :)
 
i added promos to the header yesterday aahah. super simmmo did lol. he makes coote look half decent and thats big considering hes the shittest player in the NRL>
