the 11.13 has defeated written above it so it is the losing score. Also to me those are clearly Essendon Jumpers so it will be the 1942 Essendon Premiership

Select are so far behind the rest of the trading card industry its not funny. They cant even do match worn jersey cards anymore? Collectors buy whatever they dish up and as long as this continues to happen they will just keep serving up the same cards every year but in new wrappers.

problem is if we dont collect what Select release then we dont collect anything because no-one does AFL well enough. its a shame but we love collecting so sadly Select have us right where they want us.

But again id hate to see things from NBA releases brought to AFL as much as i want to see SOME things brought.
If that makes sense

IE would love to see guernsey cards
But would hate to see Sticker autos
Would love to see some new styles etc
BUT would hate to see the guernsey cards, autos etc flooded like the NBA. 1/1s etc etc etc

So its tough. We can have a go at select, and i do. But theres a fine line between what we want and what we could get

If Select released quality though there would be alot of collectors move over from NBA, NFL, Non-Sport etc instead of going the other way. They do need to realise that alot of people like myself are not just card collectors but collectors full stop. I collect a fair few things apart from cards and they have moved way down on my list of collecting priorities. You are right though and it is sad.

Sorry - best i could do was a screen dump off an ebay listing. Someone else must have one by now.

Can't be long to go now if someone has their hands on a flyer. Wish it was clearer though but I guess we'll just have to wait to see it in hand.

They look good this year, the base cards are a better design then last year, the DPS look awesome and it just looks like a great release but looks can be deceiving so I won't get my hopes up just yet.

Apparantly some AFL Stores sell series 2, can't beleive I didn't think of checking there last year...
