If anyone deserved Knights player of the year last season it was Hilder. Put in more effort than anyone else by some margin. Tries aren't everything.
Your post is a disappointment, and that's all. Warriors have made the finals six times in the last ten year, and one of the misses was only due to a salary cap penalty of four competition points, otherwise they would have made it. They've made one grand final and two grand final qualifiers in that time. Take out the Dragons win last season and they have had more success than the Dragons.
They have had heaps of quality players. You got Stacey Jones, obviously you forgot the most capped international of all time until overtaken by Lockyer last season - Ruben Wiki. The best prop in the world until his retirement, Steve Price. Manu Vatuvei would be deserving of a high end sig. And their crowds are very good as well.
They might have been a disappointment to you, but basically you have no idea.
Club success does have a lot to do with Select's decisions, but so does location. There's no excuse for Select never having a Jones or Wiki sig, really. I think the most surprising thing is there's been virtually no Souths high-end sigs, surely they are a prime candidate. But overall, the selections should be equal. Or there should be one high-end sig per team, per series. I feel for the supporters that always miss out.
