Is there a more whining, moaning, carping sook in world football than Arsene Wenger? Fair dinkum, does that bloke EVER take responsibility when (again) Arsenal don't win games that they should?
They should have put Liverpool away (which as a Liverpool fan I readily admit) and once again Arsenal didn't shut the gate.
Aresenal fans are such sooks. Both were clearly penalties. Wenger is becoming as bad as fergie in his old age. *****ing and moaning when things don't go your way. Toughen up Aresenal princesses........ maybe next year
One was clearly a penalty. The other was a blatant dive. But its been pretty obvious how low Liverpool have sunk for some time. Quality player Lucas.
And your spot on. Maybe next year. Definitely not the case for Liverpool who are heading in the opposite direction to Arsenal.
You'll Never Win Again.
You mad bro??? Both clearly penalties no dive just a tangle and a nudge. Liverpool low??? You know you are lower than a snakes bumhole when you have to blame the refs. What's with Wenger after the game? What does he expect kenny to do, give him the win? Wenger should have saved it for the cameras i would have told him to peeve off as well.
We may be in a bad place but Arsenal are just peeved because in the last two years they should have won at least one title with their fixtures and results but no they have choked.
The mighty Liverpool will rise again. Remember the debt has been taken care of so nothing to hold us back. We will be back again next year..... mark my words. Oh btw good luck keeping Fabregas with no money and your stadium debt
i dont think its got anything to do with the FA trying to stop united getting awards?!? i mean they have won the last 4 PFA awards, and the most not only since the epl started, but since the award has been given.
and theres more to it than just goals and assists. otherwise berba would be waaaay ahead of nani.
in saying that, i do agree that it shouldnt have gone to bale. nani is on my list above him, but nasri is my pick.
agreed on wilshere. looks good. and baines aswell...

penalty was 50-50, but i think wenger meant it in regards to the extra 3 minutes added on. and dalglish comes off as a fool in his post game quotes, but not low. arsenal may have choked in the last few years, but they were there.
i also i think you got your numbers a little wrong. both clubs are in debt, and liverpool's has been getting worse consistantly for the last 5 years, while arsenal remains in the top 5 richest clubs. plus theyre leaving anfield, so theyll have their own stadium debt to deal with.
Your joking aren't you? They have NO chance of finishing 4th..
Absolute BS with this PFA Award.. Gareth Bale won it- as much as i like him he has done nothing this year in the premier league.. He has 7 goals and 3 assists right? Nani has 9 goals and 18 assists in the PL alone! But once again it is the FA preventing any major player awards going United's way..
In other news, the Young Player went to Wilshere, really liking the look of this kid.. will be one of the best as he gets older..
And the PFA Team of the Year:
Van der Sar (Man Utd)
Sagna (Arsenal), Vidic (Man Utd), Kompany (Man City), Cole (Chelsea)
Nani (Man Utd), Nasri (Arsenal), Wilshere (Arsenal), Bale (Tottenham)
Tevez (Man City), Berbatov (Man Utd).
Awesome team right there, not sure if Cole deserved a place in that team though.. what about Baines?? :S
Our debt has been taken care of through the takeover. We no longer owe the banks a cent. Any debt we have sits within the company that took us over and not with the club. Arsenal however are still independantly owned, at this stage, thus are the ones who owe the bank.
Once again if the club builds a new stadium it will be paid by our owners and debt will sit with them. Yes club revenues etc will pay it off but if the banks want their money they go to the company not us.
The 3 extra minutes were Arsenal's own fault. When the Liverpool took the free kick Arsenal tried to waste time by giving the ref a hard time setting the wall. Thats what took the time and thus the ref had to take it into account. Plus any soccer fan should know that the minutes they show on the board is the MINIMUM extra time to be played not exact. It is at the refs discretion as to when time is actually called.
Debt was the only thing holding us back before and it was only a few years ago we were in that top 5 richest clubs. Times change very quickly my friend.
Its all about sour grapes and sooking for Arsenal at the moment.
i wasnt defending arsenes POV, just saying what it was...
debt also wasnt the only thing holding you back. no depth being the major flaw.
im not an arsenal fan...just putting in my two bits.
plus any 'soccer' fan should know to call it football...
there is no difference. youre saying a firm took over liverpool so they took over the debt, but the same thing happens when a roman or mike ashley comes along...the debt is still directly linked to the club. if the banks come for the firm, the firm can sell off its assets (ie the club/players) to pay them back.
and saying you had no funds to buy players is a cop out. the same thing happened after the hicks take-over. lots of talk about spending cash and reforming the team. 22mill for torres. 18mill for johnson. and now 30mill for carroll?!? but in the end, there are bigger problems.
like i said, debt has little do with pitch performance. united are heavy in debt. madrid are owned by banks. they both still make it to finals...
please note, im not saying liverpool cant achieve over the next few years.
i get that you call it soccer, but i dont get why? all the other leagues already have names? plus football was football first. plus its the only one were you can only use your foot.
WHAT????? Are u serious - Ryan Giggs anyone??? He won it 2 years ago and he only started about 10 games!!!! That was the biggest laugher of ANY award EVER - Like giving Jason Kidd the MVP for being a great player for 15 years. Then last year Rooney won it ahead of Drogba who was by far and away the best player. You're flat out wrong saying Nani deserved it. Did he deserve a nomination? Quite possibly, did Bale deserve it - possibly not? But to say there's a United bias is downright nuts.
I could argue Kompany should have been nominated, he's played amazing, not been sent off or missed any games in a rock solid defence.
Van der Sar as the goalie of the year??? Where's that drop catch vid???
every goalkeeper makes mistakes Alistair, you know that.. The point is that he is still is playing well at 40 and he has had a great season between the sticks- who would you have in goal??
Don't call me Alistair - only my Mum calls me that...Haha
TBO I couldn't say. I just find it odd that someone who made the goalie error of the year (and I include Grren's WC fluff there) can be goalie of the year. The fact he's still playing well at 40 is completely irrelevant. Does he get the vote cos he's 40??
I think sometimes when they pick TOTY awards they just chuck in the player who start for the best teams and of course they have the best defences!
I can really only comment on Hart, as he's who I have seen most. He had a stuff up for one goal this year when he and a defender left it for each other. a 50/50 one. Otherwise he's been excellent....The other thing to look at is the goals conceded and United is 4th with 32 behind City (31) Arse (30) and Chelsea way down at 26 - so does Cech get it??
No come back on the Nani 'snub'??
