As I've told ya many times before, Jimbo, he will more than likely make the HOF. Although no-one can guarantee a great player will make the HOF, he will eventually get inducted when he retires (with or without a ring - like Barkley, Stockton & Malone).
 
Oh yeah, I'm predicting a Heat victory. 1-1 after 2 games in Dallas, followed by 3 home victories for 4-1.

My MVP would be Wade (but if Mavs do win, Dirk will get it).

PS - No foreigner will win MVP of a losing Finals team. I mean Yao Ming couldn't get ROY, and he had a better year than Stoudemire. Wasn't Gasol also overlooked for ROY???

It's the first time in Franchise HISTORY the Mavs have made it to the NBA Finals, and you wanna say they're crap??? [-X

Mavs can win this for sure. Diop & Damp can defend Shaq to a limit, as with ANY big man in the league. See "BIG" Ben VS Shaq = OWNED... Shaq had his way. Wade is the difference maker, but so is Dirkinator!!! Who ever has the better games of these two, will determine the outcome......

both teams have played some awesome ball to get to where they are now and either team when they are on their game can run rings around the other!!

both teams have the potential (and the possible fairytale ending) to win it?!?:)

u know this is one of teh ebst years ever for me my fav team is in teh finals n even if they didnt make it id be just as happy that the spurs arent there lol

Well it did take them 26 years to get there Scotty ;) Nah jk, it's great for both teams. I really want the Heat to win but I wouldn't be that upset if the Mavs pull it off. I've grown to like the Mavs this season and I rate Howard and Nowitzki as one of the best tandems in the league. The Mavs are something like 25-0 when Howard scores more than 20. I can't wait. Go Heat!

Here's a cool story about how the Mavericks made it.
 
i dunno why im typing this it was going through my mind for no reason lol...just so everyone knows this NBA Finals with be a Texas team vs a Florida team.........the last time that happen wasssss ;) the 1995 NBA Finals - Magic vs Rockets..4-0.......can history repeat itself? or will it go the distance? hmm (also amazing this is shaq's 6th NBA Finals with his third team in the NBA...fantastic stuff)
 
I know of at least 4 times a shaq team has been swept from the playoffs

magic vs pacers
Magic vs bulls
Magic vs rockets
Lakers vs Jazz

could happen

yes but look at what year they where, and look at the quality teams he bowed out against at such a young age...

magic vs pacers.. 1994 if i recall correctly.. that pacers team was right up there
magic vs bulls..1996 - jordan/pippen + bulls 72 game win that year
magic vs rockets 1995 - dream + clyde and an on fire horry/cassell and an all but dead anderson/scott
lakers vs jazz - 1998 - a pretty useless come playoffs kobe (airballs) and a young lakers squad against malone and the jazz at their peak
lakers vs spurs- 1999 - Duncan/Robinson on a mission against the same lakers team the jazz swept

That's the whole time in shaqs career that they've been swept... I dont think the mavs will sweep them.. i think they're "close" to lucky to be in the finals.. we'll see.. i just dont see an answer for shaq/wade coming from the mavs, unless those players shut themselves down..
