2006 NBA Finals - Heat vs Mavs

Well it all comes down to the next 4-7 games!!!
Is this Gary Paytons 3rd crack at a title??? Shaq could win his 4th title and his 1st without Kobe...
Last year I thought the Sun and Heat should have played off for the title...both sides had the best teams "on paper". This year I'm not sure...I think the Spurs had great depth (not enough obviously!) and Detroit probably looked the most likely to be there at the end.
Dallas have surprised me to a degree but a look at there roster shows a well balanced team of youth and experience....much the same as the Heat.
Oh and I think the Heat will win it in 6.
Anyway.....it's SHOWTIME!!!

My predictions:
Champions - Heat
Games - 6
Finals MVP - first choice: Shaq (if he stays out of foul trouble for most of the games) Second Choice: Wade if the above happens.

I just think the balance in their team at the moment is awesome and are clicking as a team at the right end of the season!!

plus i think they are playing awesome defense!! i mean detroit arne't reknowned for high scores, but they were having trouble scoring more than 80 against the heat!!

Dallas has big bodies to throw at Shaq (Diop, Dampier etc) which is where Detroit fell down coz they only had big ben to try and stop him

Heat in 7. While I think Miami has the edge, it'll be a tough series.

go the shimmy lol. and it may well be hack a shaq. but you got zo to who's no slouch. i'd perfer to have zo on my team than both diop and damp. big men is where it will be won.

I want Miami to win actually. I cant say i care too much who does but Mark Cuban is a wanker so thats why i will cheer for the heat. It will be a great series that would be made even better if it goes to 7.

well WADE my fav player n SHAQ always been there (I still miss the shaq n penny days when penny was my fav) neway im goin with heat in 5, I think they already beat teh best team in teh pistons so neone else will be easier unless they have to deal with the same bad luck as the pistons n shoot like i do blindfolded

HAHA in his defense he only showed off his 'shimmy' after draining a three late in the 4th when they knew they had the game won, so i don't think he is just gonna go doing it willy nilly against the MAVS!!

my prediction: Mavs in 6 or 7, Dirk finals MVP. i think the mavs depth will be stronger than miami, if dallas just lets wade and shaq (they know they probably will even if they try to stop them) go to town but concentrates on shutting down the second string players like walker, j-will, haslem etc it will be an easy series.

The way dirk is taking it to the basket he'll have walker, haslem and shaq pulling their puds on the bench in foul trouble the entire series.

Shaq and wade will go big numbers but walker, haslem and jwill be be outplayed by the howard, terry, harris and the depth will win out
